Since the inception of our whollyowned subsidiary, Petra Resources
Sdn Bhd in 1988, we have been on an
expansionary trail, growing organically

on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia

Oil Field Optimisation

Petra Energy provides multi-disciplinary exploration and reservoir
management consulting services for the oil and gas industry through the
provision of sub-surface geological & geophysical, reservoir, production
engineering and well engineering services.
In oil field optimisation, we provide Full Field Review (FFR) and Field
Development Plan (FDP) of ageing assets and reservoirs to enable our
clients to make informed decisions on operating onshore and offshore oil
and gas facilities.

From the FDP recommendations, clients have the option to decide on the

Petra Energy has firmly established itself as an intergrated provider for topside major maintenance hook-up construction and commissioning of
offshore and onshore oil and gas installations. The scope encompasses
all surface engineering capabilities that include design, engineering,
procurement,
fabrication,
installation,
hook-up,
construction,
commissioning including offshore marine services.
For maximum benefits to clients, our services are executed on a singlepoint of responsibility and accountability or integrated basis that ensures
operations efficiency, reduced costs and faster project turn-around.

HSSE and QA/QC procedures are engaged at all levels of operations to

ensure compliance with project requirements in reference to applicable
laws, codes, standards, specifications and regulations.

The services are managed by our project offices, which houses a highly
competent team of industry professionals with extensive experience in
project management, works planning, design, engineering and
implementation, HSSE, QA/QC and marine operations.

For a particular project, Petra Energy clocked approximately 23 milion man

hours over a six year period, whilst operating a fleet of four work barges,
three workboats, anchor handling tugs, fast crew boats, material supply
boats and more than 1,000 construction personnel offshore.

We specialise in rotating and mechanical equipment packages and provide

For skid packaging, we provide design, assembly and testing of

mechanical, structural, instrumentation and electrical items that incorporate
proprietary engineered equipment, piping, structural frame, supports,
pressure vessels, tanks and I&E installation. The scope also covers
painting, logistics, project documentation and management. Our packaging
and manufacturing facility occupies a covered area of approximately 5,700
sq. meters.

experience in design, fabrication, installation and commissioning of a wide
range of quality industrial boilers ranging from 5TPH to 100TPH, we are
one of the top boiler producers in the country and region. Our boilers are
manufactured to international standards (VIZ, BS 1113, BS 2790, ASME I
and ASME VIII Div 1 & 2), and exported to countries in South East Asia,
Latin America and Africa.
Our manufacturing plant, occupying approximately 5,669 square meters of

As part of our brown field operations, Petra Energys marine spread

comprising three (3) accommodation & work barges and two (2) work

The vessels, comply with stringent guidelines by oil majors; are certified

sea worthy and classed in accordance with the rules and regulations of the
globally recognised classification society, ABS (American Bureau of
Shipping).

Each of the vessels possess appropriate notations denoting capabilities

and complies with all international regulations and recommendations

imposed by various regulatory bodies such as the International Maritime
Organisation (IMO) and Flag State.
