The aim of this paper is to give grounds for Integration Management as a best solution for
construction Projects due to its feature of effective and efficient communication network that is
an essential attribute of Integration Management which helps to execute the work in an efficient
manner with a reduced probability of blunders.

Introduction: An Integrated Management System is a single integrated system used by an


organization to manage the totality of its processes, in order to meet the organizations objectives
and equitably satisfy the stakeholders because one construction project would experience many
indispensable work stages from client contact, project application, feasible research analysis,
project evaluation decision, project design, first-stage preparations (such as selections and
purchases of main materials and equipments), organization and implementation, plan
establishment, controls of project time limit quality and investment to finish, acceptance,
delivery and use.

Why we feel the need of this New technique: The traditional lack of project management
and systems thinking does not analyze the project from the perspective of the overall objective,
project management, construction, design, project management and management of the
implementation of project are separated.
Because of their management topics are different and have many barriers to communication,
information can all phases of the project will not be delivered on time and release the contents
phases of a construction project is separated, isolated and static, the phenomenon of the
content of the information is missing, and false sharing are legion. While engineering solutions
permanently changed in the future process of construction, the implementation process
crossed confusion; they often protrude out of control. The above-mentioned disadvantages of
project management is increasingly apparent if the development thinking traditional
management and use systematic and integrated idea to study and solve the problems of
managing construction projects to be a good way.

The Features of Construction Project Integrated Management Based on Stakeholders:


The integration of the three aspects of project stakeholders to link the characteristics of the
leading owners, members dynamism and complexity Exchange.

(1)The leading of owners:


According to Fig (i):
Owner: Project decision-making power is in the hands of the owner, is the selection of
participants instructed by the owner or by an advisory panel to develop selection criteria.
Although there is a neutral third party as a moderator of the work of the regular meetings of
the Presidency, improves communication and dealing with disputes in the project
implementation, but the owner is the owner of the project and is also the only party that learns

the life cycle of project.


Design Institutes, Consulting Units & Contractors: After the owner most important person or
institution, the Institute of Design the entry mechanism of implementation. Counseling entities
and contractors should be involved in the design and has some helpful suggestions from
contractors because the contractor will handle and go and look for work all this work.
Subcontractors: Subcontractors shall oversee the project and lead their teams to perform their
tasks on time. They get their information from the contractor, then the communication
between all groups are more important for the successful implementation of the project
Suppliers: This stakeholder has tasks to supply all ingredients regarding project.

(2)The dynamic of members:


According to Fig (i):
Design & Bidding: The team members are dynamic in the different stages of the whole life cycle
of the project. Early in the design phase of the project owners and consulting units may be the
only participants. After the start of the design phase, design unit is an important part; The
contractor can also enter teams at this stage and provide comments and suggestions for design
work, so the design can be built more capacity.
Construction: Contractors and suppliers to join the team and work together with other teams
featured earlier; The project implementation and completion contractors and suppliers who
have completed their agreement to get out of the project team.
Operation & Maintenance: If the project goes into operation and maintenance phase will
withdraw the advisory unit and design unit gradually from the project team, following the
notification of a defect, the contractor also has to leave the project team, to the owners take
Integrated Project and operation of the project. Currently, there is no need for the project team
and will dissolve.

(3)The complexity of information exchange:


According to Fig (i):
Open and transparent information is very important for the success of the project, and because
of the different levels and different skills of the participants, there is a variable degree of
information exchange between them. Since the information is discussed on the design and
consultation during project construction, the importance of integrated management is

conspicuous when the communications are required in various phases of the project and this is
different from the traditional manufacturing techniques due to the communication system. The
large amount of information, complex type, and the wide variety of sources, dispersed storage,
dynamic and always changing, so it is very complicated to exchange information. Point-to-point
communication among participants often leads to "information about the island."

The process analysis of Construction project integrated management based on


Stakeholders:

(1) Stakeholders of pre-project and the analysis of interests and needs: The main tasks of the
pre-design is an investment decision, feasibility studies, preliminary design of the project to
build the project, the assessment of the environmental impact of the budget, etc., the content
of the work in the time that the main actors are defined or owners, investors, design
contractor, the surrounding tissue and the public, government.

(2) Stakeholders of Interim Project and the Analysis of Interests and Needs:
Investors or Owners: They are most concerned about the return, allowing you to play more
attention on the function and role of project cost estimates, feasibility, appropriateness,
reliability and safety design.
The design contractor: They are concerned about whether their work to meet the
requirements of maximizing the owner, if the reputation of the organization can be improved if
the project money can be paid on time, etc.
The public: They need to get good placement of employees, compensation costs higher.
The contractor: Its main objective is to be constructed in accordance with the contract, what
they are is the most troubling is the payment of engineering, project profits, enhancing their
own image, the relationship to the surrounding tissue, the risks of change, the interests and
needs of producers the project is mainly that if the fruits of labor to see if the wages are paid on
time, if the conditions of humanity and safety, etc.
The construction supervision: It relates that when the parties to perform work under the
contract, if the collaboration and cooperation of the parties is harmonious, if the progress of
the project is successful when their own interests and the interests of the owner to keep, etc.
The suppliers: They mainly concerned with the supply contract compliance, supplier prices and
payment way, support services, supply risk management situation.

Government: They hoped that the construction of the project in line with the national strategy,
has good social and economic benefits corresponding national guidelines and regulations. The
main work of this period is the design and implementation of the project includes project
construction; the resource investment of energy, materials, equipment, technology, etc.
The surrounding tissue and public: Public concern that the impact of the project on their
production and living.

(3) Stakeholders of post-project and the analysis of interests and needs: The post-work refers
primarily to the operation and maintenance is the integration and transformation of the work
until the date of cancellation. Therefore, the main actors of the times are: user, owner and
project manager; Indirect key stakeholders: government, the surrounding tissue and the public.
During this time the project is completed and to maximize the benefits delivered to the owners,
which is the profitable phase occur, the owners are mainly operating costs, operating profit,
service reliability reliability, maintenance and other indicators to the maintenance and to
ensure the added value of the project; Users are buyers and users of the product of the project,
in the hope that the level of product quality, functionality, price and service are the best;
Project managers are more concerned about the treatment, the working environment,
organizational culture, personality development, etc.? Government, especially social problems
of improving the local image, promote local economic development, employment solution,
etc.? surrounding tissue and public more concerned about the improvement of environmental
conditions.

Construction project integrated management based on stakeholders:

Life-cycle Integrated Management of Construction Project: The project is divided into several
stages in the implementation process; the last stage of the work based on the previous stage.
One of the main ideas of the construction project integrated management is to integrate the
various phases of the project life cycle as a whole, of course, to ensure adequate information
exchange between all phases and aspects of the project are the basic requirements for life
insurance completion of the project cycle. The exchange of communication between the parties
involved in all phases is important for project success.

Multiple elements Integration Management of Construction Project: Traditional project


management is the management mode of operation, the managers of the various functions of a
lack of effective communication. Upon completion of the construction project integrated

management should ensure the horizontal exchange of information between the various
managers, including: data, files and information management, exchange and transfer;
Information platform for leaders from different working groups in order to make real-time
communication, discussion, decision making and a common project; Producing a single plan,
interdepartmental coordination staff to complete the project.

Information Integration Management of Construction Project: With the current practice of


project management remain the foundation that all participants work on their own. All parties
are working in their own contract and isolate shared by the other participants. This information
system is the one-way flow of information, there is no communication and discussion of
internal and external project participants outside missing the interaction, so that no party to
explain the follow-up to the limits. The one-way transmission of information often leads to
various problems and contradictions, as misunderstanding the needs of owners, poor
interpretation of planning documents, outdated systems fault the project plan, inconsistent
messages, incompatible data formats running on the specifications of the device, etc..

CONCLUSIONS:
A special feature of the management of the project is to diversify the organization and
management of the entire process of design, development, manufacture, integration and
acceptance is inseparably connected with the input and participation of stakeholders. For the
drawbacks of the traditional model, the study refers to the integration management and
systematic thought of the work as an organic system, the approach proposed construction
projects completed by interested parties, integrates all phases of the ideas and behavior of
stakeholders, balancing the interests of all stakeholders in their entirety, strengthening the
exchange of information among stakeholders, the satisfaction of all stakeholders improved,
doing the work to create the greatest economic, social and environmental benefits.
