PLAYER AND COACHES DEVELOPMENT

Player Development

Coaches Development

We follow a holistic approach towards player de- velopment, with emphasis on their tactical and technical
knowledge, along with the players physical and social
development. The development process is divided
into two major levels - Level 1 (basic development
through regular training) & Level 2 (advanced training
through Development Squads).

BBFS values its human capital our current pool of

65 coaches undergo a special training program undertaken by our head of coach development, Stevie
Grieve. Our Coaches Development Plan facilitates
the coaches with a systematic growth plan for their
overall development as professional trainers along
with the opportunity to undertake AIFF certified license courses.
Going forward, we would like to provide our coaches
with the opportunity to interact with experienced
international coaches from youth academies across
Europe through participation in international club
tournaments, technical tie-ups, etc.

We provide the complete pathway for a player to

develop from an amateur youth to a professional
footballer, by giving them the right opportunities and
knowledge to realize their potential.

Expand our network pan-India

AIFF Master-Plan- Lakshya: One Vision.

One Dream

We assisted Robert Baan, Technical Director, AIFF, to

write the AIFF Master Plan, 10-year guideline plan for
holistic development of football in India. The Master
Plan covers initiatives across youth development,
coach education, professional leagues, infrastructure
development, etc.

Other strategic initiatives for the AIFF

AIFF Strategic Plan: We have developed and authored AIFFs Strategic Plan for 2014-17 under the
guidance of Mr. Kushal Das, General Secretary, AIFF
AIFF D License: Our instructors have written the
content for D License coaching manual under the
supervision of Scott ODonnel, Director of coaching, AIFF. The Manual primarily explains small-sided
games based football coaching. The Manual will be
used to educate over 5,000 coaches in the next three
years and standardize grass-root football coaching
philosophy across India.
AIFF Grassroots manual: We have also developed
the grassroots maual which is being used as a guide
for all grassroots football interventions in the country.
