Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions,
and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the
power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a
sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At
the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the
teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will
have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in
the newsletter.

Father God,
Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron,
and his family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love
is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things
will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great
you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed.

Our God is the Most High God and He loves us deeply.

Psalms 57:2, I call to God, the Most Highwho supplies my every

need.

A god is something or someone that people think very highly of.

You can tell if you have replaced the Most High God with something
or someone by how much time and money you place on that other
thing. God created everything. He is all powerful and all knowing.
He knows even the secrets of our hearts. He is good and merciful and
His love for us never changes. To worship something that God made
instead of worshipping Him is foolish. It would be like believing a
picture is greater than the artist who painted it. God created it all! He
even created the angels who rebelled and became demons. These
demons have some power, but their biggest tool is fear. They rule
and control people with fear. Some people have been tricked into
believing that these demons have equal power to the Most High God.
The Most High God gets rid of all fear and fills you with love, joy, and
peace. There is no comparison between the Most High God and the
demons who try to show off their powers. The Most High God is a God
of love. He doesnt use fear and magic tricks to make you love and
worship Him. Someday there will be a final great battle and the false
gods (demons) will be cast into hell forever. This is why our Most High
God is better than any other god, and why He deserves our loyalty and
love.
