Under its previous title, the Australian Auto Trade Fair
was the longest-serving automotive trade exhibition in
the country

The 32nd annual event in Sydney is the only Australian

automotive trade exhibition taking place in 2008.

2008 will see the start of a new era for the event, with

revamped name
revitalised format
revised timing
reworked and expanded content

These improvements have been initiated with the industrys interest at heart and to
make better business sense for your trade.
A new business strategy has been developed and is designed to make AutoEquip
Expo the premier event in the Australasian automotive industry calendar.
From 2008 onwards the expo will
be held on a biennial basis (every two years)
alternate between the premier locations of Sydney and Melbourne
incorporate an AutoEquip Convention, providing education and
training for the automotive industry
In a major industry coup, 2008 AutoEquip will coincide with
the rst International Bodyshop Industry Symposium (IBIS) to be held in
the Asia Pacic region (IBIS AP)

regional and remotely based apprentices eligible to
earn the opportunity to attend the new AutoEquip
Expo & Convention. To help make this attendance
achievable for these remotely located apprentices,
AutoEquip Expo will award several eligible apprentices
nancial assistance towards travel and accommodation
costs while attending the expo and convention.
The new-look Expo also aims to inspire the auto
market. Displays within the expo and other feature
areas will create an event that will be sure to be marked
in the future calendars of all members of the industry.

Racing Teams will feature their performance vehicles
