2.1 Supported Devices


DIGIPASS for Mobile Enterprise Security runs on the following devices:

J2ME devices (MIDP2 CLDC 1.0 & 1.1)

BlackBerry devices (Blackberry OS version 5.0 and later, and Blackberry 10 )

iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch (OS version 4.1 and later)

Windows Phone 8

Android OS (OS version 2.2 and later)

2.2 DIGIPASS for Mobile Enterprise Security Package Content


DIGIPASS for Mobile Enterprise Security comes with the following files and/or information:

DPX file (Export.dpx)


This encrypted file contains the DIGIPASS for Mobile data that you need to import to your server.

The STATICPW folder contains the DPX file you need to use if you intend to implement a static server
PIN, along with IPIN.LOG, which contains the initial server PINs.

The NOSTATIC folder contains the DPX file you need to use if you do not want to implement a static
server PIN.

Transport key form (dpx-key.pdf)


This file contains the transport key, which is required for importing DIGIPASS data from the DPX file to the
server.
Along with this form you will also find the authorization code, which you will need to authenticate to
the VASCO provisioning server. This server sends an SMS to end-users so they can download the
DIGIPASS for Mobile software.

Activation code file (acode.log)


This file contains activation codes and serial numbers. Each serial number/activation code needs to be
made available to the respective end-user.

A folder with QR code images


With these QR codes, users can activate their DIGIPASS for Mobile without having to manually enter the
activation code. The QR codes can be scanned with the DIGIPASS for Mobile Enterprise Security
application. Alternatively, users can still activate DIGIPASS for Mobile manually.

DIGIPASS for Mobile Enterprise Security.

3.1 Deploying DIGIPASS for Mobile Enterprise Security


Deploying DIGIPASS for Mobile Enterprise Security involves the following steps:
1. Importing DIGIPASS data from the DPX file to the server.
2. Assigning DIGIPASS serial numbers to users.
3. Deploying DIGIPASS for Mobile on the end-users device.
4. Activating DIGIPASS for Mobile.

Steps you need to take:


1. Import the DPX file using the transport key.
For detailed instructions to import the DPX file, refer to your servers Administration Guide. Figure 1
illustrates DPX file import on IDENTIKEY Server.

2. Assign DIGIPASS for Mobile serial numbers to end-users.


3. Do one of the following:
(a) Send the QR codes with the activation data to the respective end-users.
(b) Refer to acode.log for activation codes and serial numbers and make them available to the respective
end-users.

4. Go to https://sc.vasco.com/provisioning/dp4mobile to add users to the provisioning service.


Alternatively, you can upload a comma-separated file with a batch of users.
Example of a CSV file:
John,Doe,+555123456
William,Doe,+55234212

End-users will then receive an SMS with a link to download the DIGIPASS for Mobile application. The
appropriate software package is automatically selected for the mobile platform.

Steps your end-users need to take:


1. Download the DIGIPASS for Mobile Enterprise Security application.
2. Activate DIGIPASS for Mobile Enterprise Edition using the QR code, or manually enter the serial number
and activation code.
After the activation, DIGIPASS for Mobile Enterprise Security is ready to generate one-time passwords.
3. In case a static server PIN is required, specify the PIN or use the initial PIN.
