Meets fatigue requirements of ASTM A952

Components retain strength even with repetitive load during use
Abrasion resistance
HA1000 has better abrasion resistance when compared to
grade 80 under similar conditions wear at lower rate, and is less
sysceptable to nicks and gouges resulting in fewer repairs and
allowing longer useful life.
Heat resistance
Can be used up to 400 F (204C) without reduction in WLL.
HA1000 can be used at even higher temperatures - up to 1000F
(538C) - with an appropriate adjustment of the WLL. Refer to
the table Use of Chain & Components Under Extreme
Temperature Conditions in the HA1000 Product Specifications
catalog, or consult a CM representative for actual WLL values.

Columbus McKinnon Corporation, Amherst, NY, guarantees each new chain and forged product of its
manufacture under normal use and service to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Our
obligation, under this guarantee is limited to making good at our factory this product or any portion thereof, which within one year from the date of sale shall have been returned to us and which on our examination shall disclose such defects. This guarantee shall be null and void if any repairs, annealing, plating, or
heat treatment of chain or forged product has been made at any plant other than authorized by
Columbus McKinnon Corporation.
THIS GUARANTEE IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED
INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE AND OF
ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES ON OUR PART, AND WE NEITHER ASSUME NOR AUTHORIZE ANY OTHER PERSON TO ASSUME FOR US ANY LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE
