Con ms de 30 aos de experiencia en el sector del agua y su saneamiento, el tamiz de pantalla continua
autolimpiante Quilton se diferencia por su gran capacidad de tamizado, su exclusivo sistema de autolimpieza y
su alto rendimiento en funcionamiento continuo e intermitente.
Su adaptabilidad a canales existentes y nuevos, la eficaz autolimpieza de la pantalla y el mnimo mantenimiento
que precisa, hace de este tamiz la solucin de multitud de problemas en las instalaciones y el idneo en sus aplicaciones.
El tamiz Quilton est formado por elementos filtrantes en ABS, llamados dientes, que van montados en dos ejes
consecutivos de acero inoxidable. En los extremos de estos ejes van las cadenas de arrastre de la pantalla filtrante. El
conjunto, con el sistema motriz y otros elementos, se monta en una estructura de acero inoxidable.
El tamiz Quilton se instala directamente en el interior del canal y los slidos en suspensin, contenidos en el agua, son
separados, extrados y descargados por encima de la coronacin del canal. Adems disponemos de sistemas auxiliares
opcionales para lavar dichos slidos extrados.
Los dientes realizan un doble movimiento como consecuencia del montaje de cada diente, y de cada fila de dientes, sobre
dos ejes consecutivos y del movimiento de rotacin de la pantalla:
- Primero, de avance para la descarga de los slidos extrados
-S
 egundo, de retroceso para la limpieza de los propios dientes y de toda la pantalla.
El diseo del diente y su montaje en la pantalla filtrante forman dos etapas de filtracin, determinan el tamao del slido a
extraer y definen la luz del tamiz.

Self-cleaning system

With over 30 years experience in water and sanitation field, the Quilton continuous band self-cleaning filtering screen
is distinguished by its high screening capacity, its unique self-cleaning system and high performance in continuous and
intermittent operation.
Its adaptability to existing and new channels, the effective screen self-cleaning and the minimum maintenance required,
make this screen suitable and a leading solution for many facilities.
The Quilton screen consists of ABS elements, known as teeth, mounted on stainless steel shafts. The band screen is
driven by chains on both sides of these shafts and assembled in a stainless steel frame.
Quilton screens are installed directly inside the channel. The suspended solids in the water are captured, removed and
discharged over the top of the channel. In addition we can supply auxiliary systems to wash the screenings being removed.
The teeth execute a double movement due to the assembly of each tooth and row of teeth on two consecutive shafts and
to the rotation of the filtering screen:
- Firstly forwards to discharge the screenings removed
- Secondly backwards to clean the teeth and the whole band screen.
The design of the tooth and its assembly in the band screen perform a two-step filtration process and determine the size of
the screenings to be removed and the mesh of the screen.
