    9StepMethodofdealingwiththeBLMJackingSystem.

    ForthepurposeofthisprocedurethelegwewillbereferencingistheBOWLEGandthereference
    chordisCHORDC.Pleasecompleteeachstepinsequenceandifindoubtrereadthistutorial.
    1. Checkthelegheightindicatortogetthebasevaluefortheactuallegheight(referencechord).

    Inthisexampleareadingof138432mmwasderivedbymeasuringthedistancefromthe
    bottomofthe138mmarktothehorizontalplaneoftheLegFlag.Thismeasurementwasthen
    addedto138m.As138m=138000mm,weadd138000+432=138432mm.

    2. NextupwegettheRPVforeachchord.RPV(RackPhaseValue)isthedistancefromthe
    horizontalreferenceplanetothebottomoftheoftheRackGuage.

    CChord=89mmRPV

    AChord=73mmRPV

    BChord=102mmRPV

    3. Nowthatwehavethe4basenumbersneededtoworkwiththeBLMSystemwejustneedto
    doalittlemathtomakesenseofitall.

    RememberingthatweareworkingwiththebowlegandreferencingourCchordfortheleg
    heightwemustsubtracttheRPVsfromtheRPVofthereferencechord.

    A=8973=16
    B=89102=13
    C=8989=0

    4. NowaddthesenumberstotheLegHeightreferencenumber.

    A=138432+16=138448mm
    B=138432+()13=138419mm
    C=138432+0=138432mm

    5. EnterthevaluesobtainedforeachchordintotheBLMSystemandtransferthemtothePLC.

    6. IfperformedcorrectlythevaluesforRPDwillbedisplayedandthearrowwillpointtothe
    lowestchordheight/highestRPVvalue.NotethattheBLMsystemuses0toreferencethe
    lowestRPV.

    7. Toverifythatthesystemworks,usetheretorquefeaturetopushthelowestchordheightor
    highestRPVvaluechord.Notethatthepercentagetorquemustbegreaterthanthepinion
    loadinordertodrivethechord.Ifsufficienttorqueisnotusedyoucanmakeproblemsworse.

    8. Ifsufficienttorquewasappliedtoallmotorsinsequence,thedisplayedvalueforRPDshould
    havedecreased.

    9. Thelaststeptoverifyingthatthesystemisdisplayingthecorrectinformationistocheckthat
    thelegheightvaluehasincreasedonthechord.Nowgobacktothechordweareworkingon
    andyoushouldseeanincreaseinchordheight.

    inputsintotheBLMJackingSystemtobeabletoSeehowyourlegishanginginrealtime.
