Stun and not be stunned.
Do not let fear take control.
When one is too overwhelmed by fear, he becomes stunned unable to
move at an instant that may be critical for ones survival. One must be
constantly in control of his emotions and not allow the situation to take
control of his feelings.

Allowing fear to take over will make you incapable to use your head
sensibly. You will be unable to think quickly making it more dangerous
on your part during situations requiring your swift actions.
Pass the fear towards your attacker.
On the other hand, using this same idea to distract your attacker may just
work for you. Doing the things the attacker does not expect will confuse
him and perhaps make him nervous.
Doing the unexpected will make the attacker think twice about pursuing
his intentions on you. Stunning him putting fear in his eyes will help
you get out of the situation you are in.
Use your head.
When somebody attacks you, you should use your mind well - and ensure
your safety and security above all else. You should take every chance you
get to disable your attacker and not let him take control of the situation.
The specifics of the circumstance you will find yourself in will actually
dictate how you should act. There are times that giving in to the criminal
will be a good idea yet there are times that actually putting up a fight will
be better. It all depends on the scenario you are in.
For example, if the criminals intention is merely to get your possessions

things, then make these all that he wants.

In such situations, you should quickly make moves to get away from the
criminal. If you can find things to use as weapons then ably use it. Find

Aim for the points of the body that will disable the attacker even
temporarily just so you can get away from him and the area. Aim for the
groin, the eyes, the head or any other part of the body that will stun the
attacker.

on you and gaining full control of the situation. Remember the longer
you put up with the criminal, the more dangerous it will be for you. Thus,
act swiftly and get away as fast as you can.
If you are with your girlfriend or family, the more reason you should try to

stuff and you feel you can easily deal with the criminal, there is no use to
impress your loved ones by some fancy moves.

consideration is your survival and those with you. You should only do
