COMPLIANCE
YOUR PETITIONER, in compliance with the RESOLUTION of this
Honorable Supreme Court dated 4 June 2008, most respectfully manifests that
he does not agree to have the PAO designated as his counsel. He is retaining
the services of a private counsel of his own choice.
The aforesaid Resolution was embodied in the 01 September 2008
Resolution of this Court which gave the address of the Petitioner as 94 Libertad
St., Mandaluyong City--- the address erroneously provided by the prosecution.
The correct address of the petitioner has always been at 12 J. Fabella St.,
Mandaluyong City. He has never changed or transferred his residence or postal
address since then.
On 20 November 2008, the postman incidentally inquired from Marvin
Marcaida in the adjacent lot at Fabella St. about the whereabouts of the
petitioner, since the previous mail containing the 4 June 2008 resolution was
annotated with RTS addressee moved out.
Considering that his previous counsel, Atty. Norman Tansingco of the
Libanan Tansingco, Uy Adolfo Law Offices, is already employed in the
government, petitioner has opted to secure the services of a counsel from his
hometown in Leyte.
