GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. This vehicle is available for inspection upto 25/04/2013. For inspection of vehicle, your
representative should visit our K8 Taloja works on any working day (from Monday to
Saturday) between 10.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
2. Your sealed offer addressed to the GENERAL MANAGER (MATERIAL) and
accompanied by a Demand Draft / Pay Order issued by a Nationalised / Scheduled Bank
and payable at Navi Mumbai, strictly for 10% of the total offer value; drawn in favour of
Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corpn Ltd. towards Earnest Money Deposit
(EMD) should be submitted alongwith the offer on or before 25/04/2013. Please
mention the sealed envelope containing your offer.
3. After finalisation of successful bidder, the Sale order will be issued by DFPCL. The
successful bidder will have to pay the full amount by Demand Draft/Pay Order, in
favour of M/s.Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corpn. Ltd., within 4 days from the
date of receipt of the Sale Order by the successful bidder/s. In case, of failure to pay the
full amount of the order value, the Sale Order is liable to be terminated and EMD of such
parties will be forfeited.
4. The E.M.D. will be refunded to the unsuccessful bidders on finalisation of the contract or
within 2 months from the stipulated last date of submission of the tender whichever is
later. No interest will be paid by us on the E.M.D. deposited by bidder.
5. Your offer should be valid for a period of two months from the stipulated last date of
submission.
6. While taking delivery to vehicle the person who has signed the tender should come for
collection of the vehicle or send his authorised representative whose specimen signature
is duly attested by him.

7. While taking delivery to vehicle the person who has signed the tender should come for
collection of the vehicle or send his authorised representative whose specimen signature
is duly attested by him.
8. The successful bidder after taking delivery of the vehicle will complete transfer
formalities and submit one set of duly attested copy of R.C. & T.C. book within one
month; indicating the person in whose name the vehicle has been transferred. The
E.M.D. of such party will be refunded only after submission of above documents. The
E.M.D. will be stand forfeited in the event of failure to submit documents within one
month after taking delivery of vehicle.
9. In case of repetitive instances of delivery not being taken by the successful bidders within
7 days from the date of intimation, we shall be free to finalise with another party and
Security Deposit will stand forfeited in such a case. Our decision in this regard will be
final and binding on you.
10. Barring unforeseen circumstances delivery of vehicle will be given within 7 days from
the date of receipt of Demand Draft / Pay Order towards full payment. The
delivery of the vehicle will be given only during working hours between 10.00 a.m. and
4.00 p.m. on working days. Delivery will not be given on Sundays & Public Holidays
declared by M/s.DFPCL.
11. The movement of bidder or his representative / labourer in the plant will be restricted.
DFPCL will not be responsible for any injury/mishap caused to such representative
labourer.
12. The vehicle will be available on AS IS & WHERE IS basis at our K8-Taloja plant.
The successful bidder will make all arrangements to take delivery from our K8-Taloja
works at their cost.
13. The rate should be mentioned in words and also in figures.
14. DFPCL reserves the right to reject any or all tender at their discretion, without assigning
any reason thereof.
15.Sales Tax and Turn over Tax will be borne by the successful bidder. Your rates should
be exclusive of these Taxes. In the case/s where the rates are quoted without mentioning
the tax payable extra (by the bidders) the rate quoted will be considered as Net of Tax and
the Tax will be considered extra payable by the bidder for evaluation. Non acceptance of
this will lead to the forfeiture of EMD of such party/parties.
