He was one of the best coaches ever in the history of
the NFL. Tom Landry coached the Dallas Cowboys for 29
years. He was also a wonderful Christian man. He had a
strong faith and everyone, especially his players, knew about
it. It was said of Coach Landry, in regards to his faith, “He
didn’t just talk the talk, he walked the walk.”
There are many people who can tell us what living as a
disciple of Jesus Christ is all about. As a matter of fact, there
have been more books written on this subject than probably
any other subject. Yet, do we see the real tangible evidence
of true discipleship today? Jesus gives us an example of
what it means to be a true disciple.
We often assume that being a disciple means we know
information, or maybe have some certain manifestation, that
shows the world that we belong to Him. In a very clear
manner, Jesus tells us what it really means to belong to Him.
We want to be the real deal. We would like people to say of
us, “He or she walks the walk!” Are we “walking the walk”
today? Are we making maximum impact for Him? Today we
see the true evidence of being His disciple!

It’s Not too Late to Join!
You too can join the 400-voice Rocky Mountain Praise Choir for the
“Symphony of Love.” If you have ever sung in a choir, you can join. There are
no forms to fill out, no auditions, just come to the final rehearsal this Tuesday
night at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary. At that time, you will receive a CD so you

Men’s Choir to Lead Worship Next Sunday!
Men will be leading worship next Sunday. If you wish to sing in the choir for
this one-time commitment, rehearsal is Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm. Call

Mission:Denver
Help serve food and distribute clothing to those in need on Saturday, January
30! The location is 2877 Lawrence St. Meet at DFC at 8:00 am. This is only a
half day commitment! We will be done by approximately 1:30 pm. For more

Hygiene Kits
Thanks for your continued support of the Mission:Denver outreach! Keep
bringing in those Hygiene Packs which help with basic needs for the homeless
and working poor. We have gallon bags with instructions at the Mission Booth.
