II. NOTES OF THE MEETING

The MMT meeting started at 9:30 A.M. with Hon. Alfeo U. Baguio, as the
presiding officer. It was formally opened with an invocation led by Mr.
Dennis G. Dagooc, followed by the roll call of attendance by Mrs.
Chiesa Marie D. Talipan. Attendance of the members reached the
quorum, Hon. Baguio declared the meeting in order.

Hon. Alfeo U. Baguio welcomed the two new members of the MMT.

There being no comments presented, Hon. Alfeo U. Baguio Moved to


discuss the agendas of the meeting which was seconded by Mr. Romy
Taclindo.

Agenda No. 1. Acknowledgement of New MMT members based on


the Executive Order No.
1.

Mrs. Chiesa Marie D. Talipan presented the amended


Executive Order No. 3, which already Executive Order No.
17, in which Hon. Alfeo U. Baguio acknowledged the new
members, namely: Mr. Leo Ricarte B. Abejuela Jr., NGO
Representative( Diocese of Malaybalay ) and Dr. Mercedes
Gloria D. Ramos Academe Representative ( BSU-Director of
Extension) and discussed the functions of MMT
members.

Thus , Hon. Alfeo U. Baguio explained to the MMT


members that only the composition of members that was
amended but the functions of the members are still the
same.

Agenda No. 2. Finalization of MMT Report

Mrs. Chiesa Marie D. Talipan presented the draft of the MMT report
conducted at Dole Phils. Stanfilco (Maramag, Talakag & Baungon) and
Dole North Skyland Zone (Lantapan & Impasug-ong) and Hon. Alfeo U.
Baguio asked Mrs. Chiesa Marie D. Deatras to finalize the report.

The two new members, Mr. Leo Ricarte B. Abejuela Jr. and Dr. Mercedes
Gloria D. Ramos asked Hon. Alfeo U. Baguio if they can be provided

with the operations manual so that they will have an idea on


whereabouts during the ECC compliance monitoring.

Mr. Samuel C. Solero, suggested that if ever the proponent fails or


delays to submit the necessary documents or requirements being
asked, the report will proceed and be finalized based on the results
provided in the ECC validation matrix.

To further orient the new MMT members, Hon. Alfeo U. Baguio


requested Mrs. Raquel Z. Doydoy to have a brief orientation and
discussion on: the manual operation of MMT; the history of MMT;
coverage of the MMT monitoring and their evaluation and targets every
year; the conditions of the ECC and its jurisdiction; the requirement of
EMP(Environmental Management Plan) to every proponent; the
restrictions on the ECC, Non-compliance or violation on the provision
embodied in the ECC, and their sanction; that during the monitoring,
the whole MMT members must be in the area; ECC as guidelines for
social acceptance.

Mr. Leo Ricarte B. Abejuela Jr., suggested for the amendment and
condition on mitigating measures in the IPM and emphasize on tree
planting and pest control.

Dr. Mercedes Gloria D. Ramos, emphasized on education information


on environment.

Mrs. Raquel Z. Doydoy, presented the financial report, the cash on


bank is : Php 18, 601.85; the total expenses of the monitoring: Php 87,
375.25; total expenses of the Capability Development activity of the
year 2014: Php 81, 165.40.

Agenda No. 3. Monitoring schedule

Monitoring for third-quarter will end on September.

Mr. Samuel C. Solero, suggested on monitoring the piggery of:


a. Talakag-Vicky Tan (Shamus Piggery Farm)
b. Kadingilan- Bunayog ( follow-up regarding on the relocation)
c. Libona ( Lim ketkai and other projects to be identified)

Also Mr. Samuel C. Solero added that the palm oil plantation in
Impasug-ong will be added for the monitoring.

Everybody will be informed will be informed of the monitoring


schedule one week before the actual monitoring.

Agenda No. 4. Other matters

This coming July 11, 2014, the MMT will have an ECC compliance
monitoring in Mt. Kianglad Agriventures Inc.(MKAVI) , Latapan,
Bukidnon.

2.

The LGU Libona requested the MMT to send someone as


representative, thus, Mrs. Raquel Z. Doydoy was chosen by the body.
Doydoy was chosen by the body and approved by the chairman Hon.
Alfeo U. Baguio to represent the MMT.

Scoping at Pangantucan.

4.

Mr. Samuel C. Solero, suggested that the old record of the monitoring
last February will be the basis for the monitoring to be conducted at
MKAVI-Inc in Lantapan, Bukidnon.

Mrs. Raquel Z. Doydoy suggested on revising the system of information


in every proponent , Prepare all necessary documents for the
monitoring, and change the monitoring style into feed-backing style,
thus, the body has approved and affirmed by the chairman.

6.

Every meeting, the body agreed that there must be a presentation of


progress report of every proponent for the past 3 years.

7.

Mr. Johnny L. Mancawan, discussed on Labor matters.

There being no other topic to be discussed, meeting was


adjourned at 2:45 P.M.
