Jan. 21, Wed.-Bowmansville District Sewing Circle will meet at the Bowmansville
Mennonite in the morning and afternoon. If you will be there for lunch, please bring
a hot or cold dish to share with the group, as this is the month for our carry in lunch.

The project for this month is comforters and blankets. You are welcome to make a
comforter (heavy weight single/twin or double size are preferred), or donations of
purchased twin/full sized blankets can be used as well.
Jan. 21, Wed.- Youth Bible Study will meet at the church at 7 p.m.
Jan. 22, Thurs.- Jr. Youth will meet at the church at 7 p.m.
Jan. 22, Thurs.-Our church will be providing the Community Meal at Trinity
United Methodist Church, Denver. Please consider Walking with Jesus Locally
by helping to serve or donate food items for this community outreach opportunity.
People are needed from 5-7:30 p.m. Sign-up sheets are located in the narthex.

Jan. 25, Sun.-The Worship Service will also include a Baby Dedication service for
Silas Carvell and Lincoln Kanagy.
Jan. 27, Tues.-MRC Work Day: Mark your calendars, and plan to help work at
MCCs Material Resource Center. If you are able to come for the entire day (9 a.m.3 p.m.), please bring your lunch. Drink is provided. Work includes knotting
comforters, quilting, and recycling projects. Men and women, of all ages, are
welcome!
Feb. 7, Sat.- Woodcrest Retreats Sweetheart Banquet will be held at the Alive
Church (formerly Ephrata Mennonite Church) at 6 p.m. Come enjoy delicious food,
special music and encouragement for your marriage! "Faith for the Future" will be
the theme of speakers Gene & Nancy Forrey. They attend Rissers Mennonite and
are involved in a counseling ministry. Cost: $40 per couple. Call 717-738-2233 for
reservations by Jan. 31, 2015.
