Beaver County Sheriff Cameron Noel contacted POST Director, J. Scott Stephenson and
allegations of assault had been made against tum.

On June 10, 2014, Director S eQhenson instructed POST Investigations to investigate the
allegations made against SheriffNoel.
It was alleged Sheriff Noel had choked an individual who was handcuffed and seated in a patrol
car.
POST's investigation disclosed that on May 14, 2014, according to SheriffNoel, he responded to
the Country Inn motel, located at 1450 N. 00 W. , Beaver Utah, for what was reported to be an
accidental
