Coordinator will give final grade based on total marks obtained in the following items.
Examiner, supervisor and other committee members will recommend some numeric
corresponding to followings for presentation component ONLY. Excellent(9), Very Good(8),
Good(7), Average(6), poor (5), extremely poor(3).
The paper or poster presentation in peer reviewed conference, submitted paper/ patent or some
other form of IPR / non-IPR outcomes, working prototype etc. will award extra marks
( maximum 10 by supervisor +maximum 10 by examiner).
* In the all the evaluations supervisor and other committee members will recommend some
numeric corresponding to followings for presentation component ONLY. Excellent(9), Very
Good(8), Good(7), Average(6), poor (5), extremely poor(3). This will be converted to exact
number by coordinator. The grading will be done based on their total marks obtain.
** Template for Submission of end semester progress: It should contain (i)Abstract[1/2 page]
(ii)Introduction[2page] (ii)Models/Experimental [maximum 2 page](iv)Results [maximum 6
page including figures], (v) Reference (vi)Appendix[No page limit]
Ideally introduction should contain maximum four paragraphs. 1st paragraph introduce to the
broad area, application of the topics of interest, specific problem of interest. 2nd paragraph should
discuss the literature survey, which should bring out what has been done and what you want to
study. 3rd paragraph should discuss the scope and broad methodology adopted. 4th paragraph
should outline the content of the report.
(ii) In model/experimental section, discuss the model or experiments that you want to do. Also
discuss the methodology of doing simulations or experiments. If it is experimental work, put
Chemicals required, source etc.
If you have derivation, raw data etc., put them in the appendix.
