Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why purchase remanufactured products from Lucent?
Since Lucent is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), there is no guesswork or reverse
engineering needed to rebuild equipment to Lucents high quality standards.
2. How is Lucent remanufactured equipment different from other resellers?
All Lucent equipment is remanufactured to the most current Lucent specifications, tested, quality
approved, and warranted.
3. How is equipment that includes both new and remanufactured elements ordered?
Like new products, our inventory is defined from NSEP symbols, which seamlessly integrates new
and used products into quotations or purchase orders. Lucent account executives work with the SCO
product planning team to develop appropriate configurations. Customers follow the same ordering
process as for new purchases.
