God's hands of care in Haiti


Seeing images of disaster and heartbreak, we
often wonder, what can we do? Thankfully we
are not just bystanders. We can help.

Since last Tuesday, the news and Internet have been streaming
with stories, video and images of disaster: a 7.0 earthquake struck
the capital city of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Much of the city is levelled.
The death toll is climbing as thousands, trapped in the rubble, run
out of time to be rescued.
It's jarring to look at such suffering and heartbreak, and feel use-
