1. a) Explain various parameter of signal used to describe it.
b) Find RMS, average value; crest factor, and duty cycle of signal Shown in fig (a).

2. Consider a series R-L circuit. The switch S is closed at time t=0, find the current i(t) through
and voltage across the resister and inductor using classical method of solution of differential
equation.
3. In the circuit shown fig.(b) switch is closed at t=0. Obtain the expression for the current in
circuit and find i(t) & t = 0.25 sec .

4. For the circuit shown in fig (c) find the current equation for t>0,when the switch k is moved
at t=0 from position a to b. Assume that circuit is in steady state before t=0 instant.

5. In the network shown in fig(d), switch k is closed at t=o .assuming no initial current through
inductor, find current at t=0.3 sec. Find instant of time at which voltage across R equal

6. Consider a series R-C circuit. The switch S is closed at time t=0, find the current i(t) through
and voltage across the resister and capacitor using classical method of solution of differential
equation.
7. In the network shown in fig(e), switch k is kept open for very long time. On closing switch, after
10msec, capacitors voltage attains a value of 80V.Then the switch is kept closed for a very long
time. When switch is again opened, capacitor voltage becomes 90V.after half second. Calculate
values R and C for given circuit .
