p6 PARENT FEEDBACK
I liked more about internet safety, because the whole family were involved in
helping our child make her speech.
It is good when they hear or learn from somebody other than us as parents. This
project is very beneficial to all our children.
They are learning about topics and words that they might have only heard a little
about, but now explore these further.
This is beneficial as my son can hear his peers suggestions and ideas and have a
better understanding.

TEACHER FEEDBACK

The project has been very good and certainly kept the childrens interest. The
majority of them were very keen to participate in discussions and offer their own
thoughts and opinions. They have learned a lot from the variety of lessons and some
of the information really surprised them and made them think, especially regarding
the internet and stereotypes the children realising that they too often make
comments and judgements based on appearance and gender. They thoroughly
enjoyed their visit to the Jack Kane just before Christmas and were surprised and
excited by the clubs that were available. They also enjoyed questioning Scott about
what he does in his role as the leader of the Jack Kane Community. This has been
a very worthwhile and enjoyable project, helping them on their journey to become
responsible and caring citizens, while also improving their discussion skills,
encouraging their listening, thinking and evaluating, as well as talking. The children
really enjoyed their sessions, thanks to the friendly and fun way it was led by Davie
and Diane. Thank you for

JKC FEEDBACK

The Jack Kane and St Francis teamed up again for another 8 week journey of fun,
games and learning. The effort and feedback put in by all was truly outstanding. In
friendship week agent Fatima won people bingo, with agents Jay and Erik showing
their creative side through the friendship soup activity. In Stereotype week who
could forget the gender debate about who was better boys or girls? Well done for
everybodys views and opinions. Good to see that everybody is equal in this class views.
In community week we changed the class for the streets, which saw the group take
a trip up to the Jack Kane Communuity Centre, to find out just what goes on there?
This was further highlighted through a question and answer session carried out by the
children and centre manager. Well done agents on the fantastic questions prepared.
Remember the centre will always be open to you so dont be a stranger.
This has been a fantastic journey to be part of and hopefully only the beginning for
many of the agents, as we hope to see you all again. Thank you to all the children and
class teacher for being so welcoming.
