AIMS :
By the end of the lesson the students will be able to :

Use adjectives and nouns to describe animals;


Listen for specific information to improve listening skills;
Use colours to describe animals;
Use Present Continuous to describe people and events.

Assumed knowledge: The students know different adjectives, nouns and animals. They know Present
Continuous.

b) Teacher asks the students to name, individually, some
domestic, farm and wild animals.
c) In pairs the students have to talk about their favourite animals:
What is your favourite animal?
My favourite animal is .... .Whats yours?
d) The teacher asks the students to play mime.
e) The students have to come in front of the class to imitate an
animal.

a) The teacher introduces the theme of the lesson to 4th grade by asking
Ss the way to form Present Continuous.
b) Students offer their answers:

assignment

The 2nd grade students are asked to write and learn a little poem
called Ants. The 4th grade students have to do ex. 3 at home in
which they have to give short answers to the questions as indicated.

Evaluation will be used in close connection with the teaching/


learning objectives stated at the beginning of the lesson.
It will be done in grades ( e.g. " excellent", "very good", "good"
etc.) .
