I am Md. Harun Or Rashid, son of Late Mohiuddin Mirdha, Permanent Address: Vill: Kazi Road, PO:
Netrokona PS: Netrokona, Bangladesh is Father and legal sponsor of Md. Shakil Newas, who has
planned to apply for resident permit for study purpose in Embassy of Finland. I have reached this
decision to sponsor my youngest son Md. Shakil Newas on the basis of his high ambition for overseas
education and dream to study in Finland. I am ready and completely prepared to bear his all
educational expenditure like living costs, accommodation and health insurance and others whatever
need to complete his education smoothly in Finland without any hassle. I am giving my full word and
assurance that his education will not be stopped due to financial crisis while I am till now a
businessman. I hereby solemnly affirm and declare as follows:
1. That I am permanent resident and citizen of Bangladeshi by birth.
2. That, Md Shakil Newas S/O: Md. Harun Or Rashid and Rashida Begum, Date of Birth: XXXXX,
Passport No. XXXX
3. That, I am the legal sponsor of my son for his higher degree in Finland to develop his
educational career and professional field in future.
4. That now Md Shakil Newas has been accepted to study at the University of OULU at Degree
program in International Business Management under the OULU Business School.

5. That I am committed, willing and able to bear his all educational expenses for completion of his
full time for the whole program at University of OULU.
I am declaring that I am giving to my son Md Shakil Newas, the amount of BDT 841,027.51/(approximately 8074.30) for his study and living expenses purpose during his stay in Finland. I
have withdrawn the amount from my account at Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited, Jatrabari branch
Account no- 29870 and deposited the amount in my Sons Md. Shakil Newas, Eastern Bank
Bangladesh Limited, Motijheel branch Account no- XXXX1 in the form of cash and cheque from
August, 26, 2012.

Financial Clarification:
a. The amount that I am sponsoring has came from my elder son Muhammed Jahid Hasan
Mirdha, passport number is XXXX has been living in Italy for 6 years who remitted
approximately 41,626 Euro in total in my account which is equivalent to BDT 420,357,4 from
Italy through National Exchange Company S.R.L Rome and First Security Islami Exchange
Roma, S.R.L Italia. I have attached all the relevant papers regarding that purpose.
b. I am a Businessman of Lamp production named Seven Star Bulb. My trade license number
is 1144. I am drawing around 30,000 BDT per month which is enough to maintain a family.

c. Moreover, I have an Investment on Bangladesh Soncoypotro from the Central bank of
Bangladesh (Bangladesh bank) which number is XXX Reg no. XXX amounting BDT
500,000(approximately 4886.15) from where I am getting a fixed income to support my family
besides my income from business. [ Enclosed]
I and My elder son Muhammed Jahid Hasan Mirdha as well as my youngest son Md. Shakil Newas

living expense we never fall in any financial crisis in future which is explained in financial clarification
part.
