Competition Details

Back in February, The Renewable Energy Foundation invited you to participate in the ‘My Dream
EcoHome Competition’ as part of the Royal Bath and West Show. The Renewable Energy Foundation
is a registered charity that promotes the development of renewable sources of energy and energy
conservation according to the principles of sustainability.

The competition is aimed at children aged between 7 and 11 at schools in the South West, and will be
an entertaining and constructive opportunity to engage imagination and creativity in relation to a topic
of great importance both within the curriculum and the wider world.

In the competition each child will enter a design for their own EcoHome which can then be sent or
emailed to us here at REF. Every child who enters will be invited to a reception and prize giving at the
Royal Bath and West Show on Saturday the 30th of May, where Noel Edmonds will present winners
and runners up with prizes which include a bicycle and family tickets to the show.
