This version upgrade procedure is limited to customers only have used V1.20 or V1.21.
Perform the version upgrade by following the procedure below, only when customers like and
want to use the functions and quality of V1.20 or V1.21.
Be sure to upgrade the version to V2.00R02 by following the "Procedure of Version Upgrade
R2 SUPER 700/1000 V2.00" or "Procedure of Version Upgrade DS-3000 for R2 SUPER
700/1000 V2.00", before performing the upgrade of this procedure.
In case of using R-EZ and/or Hyper CD-R Type2, be sure to upgrade each optional software by
following the procedures of [Appendix 1] and [Appendix 2].
Input Station of V2.00R02 has differences in functions and quality from V1.20 and V1.21.
Input Station of V2.00R03 has the same functions and quality as V1.20 and V1.21.
Please refer to "Functional Comparison List of R series" about the detailed differences in
functions and quality of them.
Necessary tool
Version upgrade CD (CD-ROM) 1pc

1 Confirmation of the version V2.00R02 installation
2 Log on as Administrator

On the home screen, click [Setup] [1F Version display], and confirm that the version of Input Station
is V2.00R02.
2 Log on as Administrator
1) Quit the application software of Input Station.
a) Click [Quit] on the home screen.
b) Click [Quit] in the closing screen.
c) When Post-operation inspection screens appear, click [Cancel] several times, and click [Quit].
2) Log on as Administrator
a) Log off KM. Click [Start] -> [Log off KM].
b) When "Log Off Windows" message appears, click [Log Off].
c) Log on as [Administrator].
Password: konicaminolta
Confirm the folder to decompress the file is [C:\] on the installation start screen. And click [OK].
Restart Input Station. Click [Start] -> [Turn Off computer] -> [Restart].

When Post-operation inspection screens appear, click [Cancel] several times, and click [Quit].
2) Remove USB key of optional software. (Please keep the USB key in the safe place in order not to lose it.)

b) When "Log Off Windows" message appears, click [Log Off].
c) Log on as [Administrator].
