GENERATION OF FILES FOR ASCROM

In menu option enter ASCROM and press Enter key

Function Code: Not to be entered

Set ID: Enter SOL_ID of the branch
From Date: Enter date from which the ascrom data is required. Date format is DD-MMYYYY (normally first day of the month).
To Date: Enter date up to which the ascrom data is required. Date format is DD-MMYYYY (normally last day of the month). (Note: Current date data is available only after
EOD. In other words, to date cannot be current date or future date.)
Press key F4.
It generates text file named STDSTU_ddmmyyyy.txt (ddmmyyyy is system date)
[Recovery amount excludes credit entries for inward clearing cheque returned amount
routed through account during the given period. It also excludes, outward clearing
cheque returned during the given period.
Interest+charges amount includes interest debited to the account and charges debited to
the account, during the period. Since bills charges are recovered from proceeds and net
amount credited to the account, it is not included in the recovery.]

To transfer these files in to your local hard disk, following steps are to be executed
(please note this option should be executed immediately by the same user after
completion of the above option, as other user cannot access this file)

Create a folder by name CBSASC in the C prompt. (C:)

Type PTW in the main Menu of Finacle.
Type T in the message area and press key F4.
System asks for name of the source file.
Give the name of source file as STDSTU_ddmmyyyy.txt (e.g. ascrom data
generated on 28-02-2006 will have name STDSTU_28022006.txt) in the
message area and press key F4. (Please note that the file name has to be given
exactly as above; file name is case sensitive) and the ddmmyyyy is the date on
which the user runs the menu option.
Then the system seeks destination directory for copying the file.
Insert floppy and give the destination directory name as A: and press key F4.
Now the file STDSTU_ddmmyyyy.txt is copied into the floppy.
Now rename the file STDSTU_ddmmyyyy.txt in a floppy to tbmccod.txt.
Now ascrom data is ready for uploading in our Ascrom System.

However, please note the following before using this data: Branches migrated during the quarter/month will have ascrom data both in legacy
system and CBS for that quarter/month. Hence, these branches are required to:

First update data from legacy system in monthly updation of Ascrom.

Wherever data is not updated (mismatch), please update the data manually.

Update MAPKEY in Ascrom system, as the account numbers are in CBS are
different. (one time exercise. Utility for the same is provided. Accounts
where map key is not updated, please update it manually) and thereafter

update data from CBS in monthly updation option of Ascrom.
