This fight is not over its time to take the gloves


off again. This is the response of London FBU to
the news that Mordaunts guarantees of unreduced
pensions for firefighters not fit enough to continue
does not amount to a row of beans.
Despite Mordaunts assurances in the
Parliamentary debate, the employers lawyers have
confirmed that nothing has changed and the attack
on our pensions continues.
The recall conference will debate the next steps for
the union and many are hoping for a renewed fight
underpinned by a much harder hitting strike strategy.
At this Fightback meeting we will debate what
activists need to do to build this fight and the
inevitable fights beyond.
Essex, Leicestershire and Lancs are in the firing
line against cuts, but many of us face the same
attacks. Ricky Matthews remains sacked. We need to
build a fightback throughout our union to defend our
jobs, our services and every member. Come to our
meeting and be part of building the fightback
