Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in Youre a Good Man, Charlie Brown! This unique
opportunity will provide students the chance to produce, musically direct,
choreograph and organize a musical right here at Westhill. The application
process represents an important step in putting on a fantastic show and we
are grateful for your enthusiasm and interest in this opportunity.
The following pages include applications for Musical Director, Assistant
Musical Director, (Co) Choreographer(s), (Co) Producer(s), Prop
Head/Mistress, Costume Head, and Stage Manager(s). Please note that more
than one choreographer, producer, and stage manager, may be selected.
These applications are open to any Westhill student, regardless of age or
previous involvement in the Northstar Playmakers. Students will be allowed
to hold a leadership position as well as perform in the show, except for
musical director, and stage manager(s) .
Please complete applications for any/all areas of interest and submit them to
Anthony Laszlo and Jason Nekritz no later than February 5th. If there is any
problem with submitting the application on time to us personally, then there
is an alternative to e-mail us the application ASAP. Our e-mails (If needed)
are: Jason Nekritz Jdnekritz@optonline.net Anthony Laszlo
AntLaszlo1997426@hotmail.com . Please submit them to both emails! Fill
out the application on the sheet given, or a separate sheet of paper (typed is
preferred, but not required) in its entirety to the best of your ability. A short
interview may be conducted if necessary and will give you the opportunity to
elaborate on your application and experience. We will also be holding
preliminary production meetings before February break. We are hoping to
hold auditions before the end of February. The show is tentatively scheduled
so that there will be two night performances Friday, June 5th and Saturday, June 6th and
perhaps a matinee on June 6th as well.
Youre a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a fantastic musical comedy that ran on
Broadway from 1967-1971, and a revival in 1999. If you are unfamiliar with
the show, we highly recommend you research the show prior to your
interview. Students will be asked to discuss their possible visions and plans
for the show.
Although our adult mentor, Ramona, will be present to assist throughout the
process, this show will be a result of the student leaders and performers.
That being said, there is a large time commitment associated with each
leadership position. Each leader will be expected to accept this
responsibility, make appropriate preparations prior to each rehearsal.
Attendance at most if not all rehearsals will be mandatory.

The Directors and Ramona have the rights to revoke any leadership position should you violate
any of the agreements made by filling out an application (such as failing to attend a sufficient
number of rehearsals).
Thank you for your interest,
Directors: Anthony Laszlo and Jason Nekritz
