Each CDI program also has its own admissions requirements, such as grade point
average and prerequisite courses, which you can learn more about through your free college
informational session. Further information is available by setting up an appointment with a CDI
Admissions Representative or Academic Advisor.

At CDI College, course credits earned at another accredited college or educational institute
can be applied towards your program of study. These course credits would allow advanced
standing, which is an academic credit applied to a diploma or certificate level program.
Credit Transfer Assessment

To have credits from another institution considered, students must show that the previous course
completed is equivalent to the course they are looking to receive exemption from. Students must
pay a credit transfer assessment fee for each course that prior learning credit is requested. Prior
Learning/Advanced Standing credits can be granted for up to a maximum of 50% of the
program. Any courses awarded such credits will have "CR" reflected on the transcript of marks.
Credits awarded through advanced standing are not transferable to other learning institutions.
Credit Transfer Application

Your credit transfer application must be received prior to registration and, if granted, the
program fees and length will be adjusted accordingly. Conditions and criteria for advanced
standing are available from a CDI Admissions Representative.
While the Admissions Representative is the person most involved with assessing prospective
students, all credit transfer applications will have to be approved by the Campus Director, who
has the final authority in approving your college application.

Tuition
Students are informed of all fees related to the program of study during the admission
process. Program costs may include charges for tuition, registration, learning guides, kits and
materials.
Tuition may be paid through loan disbursements received from a student loan or by cash, cheque,
VISA, MasterCard or Interac.
Tuition costs for prospective students are subject to change without notice upon approval
from the provincial regulating body. All accepted registrations, however, are not subject to tuition
increase unless there is a signed contract amendment to revise the program or length of study.

Tuition is due according to the terms of any payment plan negotiated with a CDI College
Financial Representative. All tuition and other fees must be paid in full prior to the academic
end date specified on a student's enrollment contract. Financial Representatives are made
available to assist students with arranging payment plans that ensure full payment by the contract
end date.
Students who do not pay fees as agreed upon or do not make satisfactory arrangement to pay
tuition and other charges will be suspended or dismissed from the College.
