1) Getting a cabinet to store
your Wealth Vase size, color
& location
The size of the wealth cabinet is
depending on the size of your
house, and where you want to
keep the cabinet. It can be a giant
big cabinet such as 10 feet or as
small as 1 feet, it is totally up to
oneself and the space in your
house. Of course the advantage of
keeping bigger cabinet you can
offer more offerings. And the color
of the cabinet has no specific color
but I would like to recommend
gold, yellow, red, or colorful. It can
be plain, but it is nice to have
auspicious drawing such as jewel
drawing, or flower, or dragon, or 8
auspicious drawing, or offering
goddess holding full of jewels in
hands, or lots of jewels filled in
tray/
bowls
surround
by
mongoose, all those jewels are in
the aspect of vomiting from the
mongooses mouth etc. Also the
cabinet cannot be see-through
cabinet, and it should be able to
lock up.
Then you have to choose the
wealth corner in your house. You
can choose the wealth corner
using astrology base on your own
chart, or through observation by
reliable master, you put the
cabinet facing from that direction.
If you dont get all these
opportunity for your facility, just a
suggestion - if your wealth vase is
placing in your office, the wealth
vase should face toward your
master seat, either directly facing
from the front to the seat, or face

toward the seat from the left or

right side. If it is placing in your
house, if you have prayer room,
then you can put in prayer room,
you can put in anywhere but not
facing the prayer rooms door. If
you are putting in main hall/ living
room, it shouldnt face toward
main door.
2) Getting offering to offer to
Wealth Vase inside the cabinet
The offering in the wealth cabinet
should be something that pleases
the five senses - eye, ears, smell,
taste and feeling.
Offering for eye senses such as
beautiful flowers, beautiful jewels.
Offering for ear sense can be
instrument for beautiful sound
such as bell, conch shell, drum,
thrumphet, guitar, piano, any form
of music instrument.
Offering
for
smell
such
perfume, incense, saffron.

Offering for taste such as dried

food, can food, sweet, drinks, milk
powder, butter, yogurt, sugar,
honey, rock sugar, different grains
such as beans, rice, wheat, nuts,
mustard seeds, olive oil, sun
flower oil, bean oil, coconut oil.
Offering for feeling is beautiful
brocade five colorful brocade or
clothes.
All these offerings, the size &
quantity is totally depends on your
cabinet, it can be very small just
as a substance or it can be very
big. It is totally up to your size of
cabinet. All the food try to get
something that can last for one

year. Other offerings if you can

get, you can also put like toy
elephant, toy car, toy horse, toy
house, any form of crystal such as
crystal flower, crystal apple and
other forms of fruits, or crystal
mongoose or rat, collection of
coins, money, different jewelry
such as gold, silver, copper, pearl,
coral,
torquise,
lapis,
jade,
diamond, and any other precious
stone whatever you get.
3) Arrangement of offering
inside the Wealth Cabinet
Then you can arrange the 8
offerings such as water, water,
flower, incense, candle/ light,
perfume, food, music in 8 different
bowls. It can be crystal bowl, or
can be copper bowls, or golden,
silver bowls, clay bowls, porcerlyne
bowl. The bowl can be a plain
without drawing, or you can use in
different colors, but suggested
color can be gold, yellow, red,
white, orange. And also it can be
adorned with different drawing
such as 8 auspicious drawing or
flower drawing or dragon drawing,
or phoenix drawing, or any kind of
jewel form drawing.
Arrange the offering in the cabinet,
on the top level, you put the
wealth vase. It should be place
respected by lifting it up. If you
have the wealth deities picture or
statues, then you can put them
around the wealth vase, around it
whatever empty space throughout
the whole cabinet, you should fill
with
all
different
offerings
beautifully, the sequence of the
offering is not fixed.
4) Who Can Consecrate Wealth

Vase Cabinet?
After having all these ready, if
there is any geshe or lama or
rinpoche or sangha or even lay
practitioner who knows how to do
the consecration of wealth vase
and wealth cabinet, then you can
request them to perform the ritual
consecration on wealth cabinet.
5) Implements to Consecrate
Wealth Vase Cabinet
Whoever or yourself is performing
the consecration practice will need
to have vajra & bell, inner
offering, sadhana book, and
consecration prayer text nicely
arranged on the table in front of a
cushion and in front of the wealth
cabinet. On top of the table, in a
nice bowl put any size of form of
yellow/
white
or
black
Dzambala,
or
all
five
Dzambalas, and that will be
performing
the
water
nectar
offering
in
between
the
consecration practice. And also
you need to get 1 set (2 pieces)
of
5-color
string
wealth
hooking stick, this is to use to
hook the wealth through wealth
hooking
mudra
during
the
consecration. Also you need to
prepare a vajra tie with 5-color
strings, it should be long enough
to cover one round in the entire
cabinet and extend to you. The
vajra and string should be put on
top of the vase, the string connect
around the offering, and to you.
Then you tie the string on your left
hand ring finger, and hold that
string through the consecration.
You also need to get about 1
meter long of 5 individual color
strings to tie the lock of the

cabinet at the end

consecration prayer.

Procedure
of
the
Consecrating Prayer for Wealth
Vase Cabinet
To begin the Consecration Prayer,
one should start with doing selfgeneration on Yamantaka, or any
Highest Yoga Tantric deity, through
that one continue to perform the
wealth vase and wealth cabinet
consecration practice/ puja.
After completing the process of
puja/ practice according with the
complete proper text, then have to
end the consecration prayer by
closing the cabinet and locking it
as well as tie by 5 individual color
strings, and stamp 7 spots onto
the
strings
and
end
with
auspicious prayer, and complete by
residing the wealth deities, daka
and dakanis up to the next time
when you change the offering in
the wealth cabinet.
7) Looking after the Wealth
Vase Cabinet
The wealth vase itself cannot be
opened ever, however all the
offerings in the wealth cabinet, it
is advised to change at least once
a year for great accumulation of
merit.

Re-consecrating
Wealth Vase Cabinet

From the second time when you do

the
wealth
cabinet
reconsecration, you need to start
with performing the Eight Families
of the Dhamapalas Protectors
Pujas (dey-gye ser-kyem) such as
offering black tea and praises and

supplication etc in order to un-tie

the first consecration, after that
you re-consecrate your wealth
cabinet with the same procedure
as mentioned above for 2nd round.

(Leader of consecration ceremony
must have received Yamantaka
Initiation or any HYT initiation and
done its retreat complete with fire
puja).1. Do extensive bodhicitta
motivation in order for this
consecration-action to actualize
the greatest benefit to numberless
beings, especially those who are
going to host the wealth vases.2.
Then do following prayers from
FPMT green prayer book:(i) The
increasing effect mantra 7x(ii) The
Mala
blessing
mantra
7x(iii)
Blessing the speech mantra 1x
3. From FPMT brown book pg 6
do the daily meditation practices.
Recite the Lama Tsongkhapa Daily
guru yoga meditation prayer and
The Foundation of All Good
Qualities prayers - page 6- 24 up
to the Guru entering the heart
prayer.
4. Do the self generation of
Yamantaka (if can best to do
Yamantaka long sadana if not at
least do short sadhana).
5. Bless the Action Vase (fill with
saffron water). Take off the
Peacock feather from Vase; then
replace with Vajra and then put
rosary ( Mala) around the Vaseneck; then recite Yamantaka
mantra
(Om
Hrih
Shtrih
Vikritanana Hum Peh) at least 108
times.

6. After recitation, put back the

peacock feather on vase and
sprinkle towards consecration
objects (Wealth vases) while
reciting of this mantra (om sarva,
ta tha, gah ta, ah bi, khe kan tsa,
samaya, sheri ye, ah hum) - 3x.
7. Then put bit of vase water on to
rice and flower and mix. Then
through the rice and flower
towards the consecration object
while reciting follwing mantras...(i)
Mantra of dependent arising 7x from FPMT morning prayer green
book(ii) Ali (Vowels) 3x(iii) Kali
( consonants) 3x
8. Then do the farewell and
auspicious prayers from
Yamantaka sadhana
