ThisdocumentdescribeshowtocommissionanACTMediaGatewayconnectedviaIP.
ConnectionviaIPisspecificinthatthelinkbetweentheACTMediaGatewayandCallServer
cannotbesetupimmediately.Apreliminaryphase,involvingacquisitionofIPparametersby
theACTMediaGatewaycontrollerboardandabinarydownloadfromtheCallServer1,must
beperformed.
AnACTMediaGatewayonIPiscontrolledbyanINTIPBorIOIPboardinstalledinaCPU
slot.Thisboardmaybeduplicated.TheINTIPBorIOIPboardonlyprovidesalinkwiththe
CallServerormainCrystalshelf.ItdoesnotactasanH.323gatewayanddoesnothandle
IPPhonesignaling.
