changes in life of nation is inevitable(unavoidable) because as time passes by there is a ALWAYS a change
whether it is economic, political, religious. Specially that our time today, that we need to adopt something for the
betterment of the country like k-12 aiming for a higher education (philippines). Even our our forefathers had changes
in their lives that they even developed different tools for living. it is said that as time come, more advances will also
come.
2. Nationalism is a desirable goal only to the government of the nation. Nationalism allows the government full
control over its people. Telling them how to live, how many children to have and what to wear. Without a united nation
it will be divided and a nation divided can't stand. The separate factions will oppose each other and greatly weaken the
nation.

4. Third world countries are generally the ones whose chief exports are raw materials. Industrialized countries generally
export processed goods back to the third world. Without industrialization, the country has little economic growth in it's
future. Industrialism is a continuity in the society. Industrialism will make tasks become more and more simpler, faster as
well as help to increase productivity in a short period of time. Lots and lots of new technology conventions will be
discovered. Therefore, machine will take over human energy. This will continue because certainly every body especially
employers want to save human energy (workers), time and money but expect more products to be made as well as multi
tasking. So, machine will replace human mind and energy. In the future, there may be more and more machines created,
human energy and mind may be not longer necessary in work. This will make the society become more robot-ism.
Number of techno- psychosis will be increased. Therefore, industrial revolution creates a big issue which is continued on
and on. Industrialization concerns society by developing a base of employees knowledgeable in the new tools of
manufacturing, developing markets for the products, receiving enough money to update and expand the product(s).

6. Hmm. . . Imperialism, as defined by Dictionary of Human Geography, is "the creation and/or maintenance of an unequal
economic, cultural, and territorial relationship, usually between states and often in the form of an empire, based on
domination and subordination."
I'm against any system of domination and subordination organized with an imperial center and a dominated periphery.

The question is vague but imperialism needs to be judged in the context of its time. Ancient civilizations
used to see it as their duty to conquer nations weaker than themselves. If they did not, they were
considered a failure.
Today, however, the view is typically opposite when focusing on territorial acquisition. The world --at least
by theory of the United Nations -- opposes taking over another sovereign nation's territory simply because
they are a weaker state. In many cases, the act would lead the opposition of the United States and
perhaps even war.

Economic imperialism is different though because of global trade and general economic expansion. While
influential economics can be confrontational, it is expected for nations to take advantage of capital.
Examine how China has peacefully influenced its own economic situation at the cost of the United States.
Imperialism can be and is a very strong tool of the trade. But also can be a weapon that can back fire at
any moment in the users face. With the right leader in position I believe that imperialism is a good thing
but only to a certain point.
If imperialism is used to move toward globalization I believe that it is an evil but if it used to play the role of
a police man it can be justified. Britain for example used it to increase their personal welfare, an excellent
strategy on their part but not for others exspecially those in Africa. Although if they wouldnt have had as
much competetion with country such as France and other european countrys may have slowy moved
toward globilization and today they just might have been in control of 3/4 of the world. Another reason too
much territory control is a negitve is because it makes it hard for the leader of the dominate country to
control all of their land and the people living in that land. Because of this difficulty countrys have been
know to resort to abuse and unfair treatment of the newly aquired lands inhabitants, just as Britain did with
India. They did this just to intimidate the poeple and keep them under their control.
A great use of imperialism I think is using it to set up influental areas to increase trade. I believe we should
have followed along with the actions of Britain when they set up a sphere of influence in China. Other
good use is use it to police and to protect your own boarders. For example Hawyi. Hawyi was an excellent
imperialistic move on the United states part. It set up a great location and harbors for protection of the
western coast. Moving into Cuba was a neccisary police like move to possibly protect the main land from
missle attacks.
7. Yes. Because, if you plant a seed and cover it with stone, without sunlight and water, it would die. Whereas, don't weigh
it down with stone and let the sunshine in, plus water, and it would inevitably grow in our rich soil.

Because the Filipinos

are God fearing people and religious too as a result of dogmatic influence of Spanish friars. Filipinos are close
knit families predominantly matriarchal . So the citizens are cultured to follow the good growth and moral
norms. Patriotism is also inculcated in the minds of the youth the curriculum in higher education includes Rizal
course his life and achievement.
