Destiny Metropolitan Worship Church (Atlanta, GA) 1997 to July 2009


Destiny Metropolitan Worship Church is one of the largest non-denominational church institutions located in the
Atlanta Metropolitan area. The church has 24 full-time staff, 16 part-time staff, 600 volunteers, and over 6,000
members. Became a member of the church when there were less than 75 members and began serving
immediately in numerous leadership capacities. Was eventually asked to join on a full-time basis to assist with
achieving the church’s vision. Played a critical role in stimulating growth and creating programs to harness the
potential of an expanding membership body.

Youth Initiatives Director/Youth Pastor July 2008 to July 2009


Critical role tasked with connecting the church to the surrounding community and abroad. Became a recognized
and sought after name in youth ministry circles and received several invitations to participate in and speak at key
activities and events

 Fostered relationships with the schools in the community to identify needs and developed outreach programs to
address those needs
 Organized international mission trips to plant churches outside of the United States
 Driver of the Strategic Operations Process which involved the development of strategic plans and building of
teams resulting in improved organizational focus, improved collaboration, and a 40% reduction in operating

The Cobb County Commission on Children and Youth is charged with focusing on the needs, issues, and problems
relating to children and youth in Cobb County.

Motivational Speaker
Position with Cobb County Middle and High Schools which affords the opportunity to reach teen and pre-teens
through a preventive program that deals with critical topics such as abstinence, character development, and self
esteem.

 Effectively partner with the Cobb County School System to reach students before they make unwise choices
relating to drugs, alcohol, and sex
 Conduct an annual rally each year for all participating schools to provide students with a support system by
connecting them with others who make wise decisions

Youth Unite, Founder and Leader – Youth Unite is a youth ministry network in Cobb County, GA designed with a
focus on community transformation through the collaborative efforts of various youth ministries
Youth Specialties, Seminar Organizer and Host – Youth Specialties trains and equips Christian youth workers to
minister through seminars, conventions, and creative resources
Purpose Driven Youth Ministry Community (PDYM), State Mentor for Georgia Youth Pastors – PDYM is a
community of like minded youth workers who believe in the biblical purposes of worship, fellowship,
discipleship, ministry, and evangelism. State Mentors are selected because of their success at implementing
the biblical purposes in their organizations
Brumby Community Collaborative – volunteer and serve alongside a team comprised of school principals, social
