Cyber Liability Are You Covered?

Its no surprise that cybercrime can expose organizations to significant financial and
reputational losses. Last year alone, four of the worlds ten largest data breaches
took place in 2013; data breaches suffered by US companies in 2013 were the
second most-costly in the world. Data breaches and other network security incidents
(NSIs) are an everyday risk that insurers and policyholders must understand in
order to identify and define their vulnerabilities. This presentation will discuss two
critical areas: - Emerging coverage trends under general liability policies, including
recent court decisions and upcoming endorsements intended to close the window
on NSI coverage, and - Cyber Liability policies, including coverages involved and
potential limits for NSIs involving data outsourcing, business partners, and clouds.
