A paraben-free, formaldehyde-donor-free, skin-neutral pH formulation, this crystal clear body wash contains skin pampering botanical oil and vitamin beads.
Carbopol* Aqua SF-2 Polymer provides suspension, stabilization, high clarity, and smooth honey-like flow at a pH level suitable for the use of sodium
benzoate preservative. The extremely low odor and water-white color of Sulfochem* ES-2CWK Surfactant enhances fragrance and formulation color
integrity, while providing superior flash foaming and lather. Chembetaine* CAD Surfactant is a mild, high purity, low color surfactant providing additional
foaming, and viscosity building characteristics.

Beaded Clear Antioxidant Body Wash

with Sodium Benzoate
Procedure:
1.

PART A: Add Carbopol* Aqua SF-2 Polymer to Deionized Water with gentle
mixing. (Note: It may be necessary to recalculate the amount of Carbopol* Aqua
SF-2 Polymer required depending on the %TS of the particular lot. The amount
required should be based on a final formula amount of 2.5 %TS.)

2.

Add Sodium Laureth Sulfate with gentle mixing. Mix until uniform.

3.

Neutralize to pH 6.5 with Sodium Hydroxide (18%). Mix until uniform.

4.

PART B: Add PART B ingredients to the batch one at a time in order, with mixing.
Mix until uniform

5.

Add Fragrance and Dye with mixing. Mix until uniform.

6.

Adjust pH to 5.0- 5.2 with Citric Acid (50%).

7.

Add beads to batch with very gentle agitation.
