ConMesh
Conmesh products are Construction Mesh Fabrics (CMF), manufactured from glass with advanced
technology and coated with special chemicals. All ConMesh products are extremely tough,
lightweight, flexible, high in tensile strength and easy to work with. These properties make
ConMesh an ideal engineering material for construction activities. All ConMesh products pass
through a liquid bath process to develop alkali resistance, which is very important for cement
base applications (as cement is a highly alkaline material)
ConMesh is available in two forms : ConMesh and ConMesh WP.

ConMesh is useful for joints (external and internal), tensile reinforcement, mosaic and marble
back mounting etc.

ConMesh WP is used for water proofing, gypsum plaster reinforcement, crack repair, crack
prevention, tiling and flooring etc.

ConMesh products are required for all good quality construction because it improves quality,

durability and service life of structures.

ConMesh Its Uses

CONMESH is used where two materials with different coefficient of expansion come together
(joints of masonry, RCC, stone etc). ConMesh absorbs tension and forms a flexible, yet extremely
tough durable layer within plaster, facilitating adherence to variety of masonry materials. Unlike
metal or plastic based alternatives (chicken mesh) ConMesh does not break down due to
corrosion, easy to use, pliable, cuts effortlessly and lies flat. ConMesh exceeds all the
requirements on tensile strength and resistance to acid, salts, water and alkali. ConMesh comes
with alkali resistance properties and provides reinforcement against impacts.

Applications of ConMesh
ConMesh is very useful where two materials have different coefficients of expansion

ConMesh WP
ConMesh WP is thin, flexible, lightweight, high in tensile strength, pliable, cuts effortlessly, lies
flat and easy to use material made from glass. These properties make ConMesh WP an ideal

material for water proofing, gypsum plaster reinforcement, crack prevention etc. ConMesh WP is
resistant to acids, salts, water, fungus, insects and alkali. Construction members are stressed due
to continuous temperature variations. The water proofing layers have high tensile strength and
ConMesh WP is very useful for gypsum plaster because of flexibility, strength and improvement
in workmanship.
