Trisaktis OIL EXPO is an annual event held by BPHMJTP. The aim of this event is to
bring together students and experts related to oil and gas industry to present their results, and
exchange experience, ideas, and solutions regarding oil and gas problems in theoretical and
practical aspects by discussions, seminars, company workshop, and refreshing competitions.
Beyond its technical and scientific goals, another main purpose of Oil Expo is to strengthen
the kinship and friendship among students between universities and the Oil and Gas industry
experts.
By now, weve all heard, read, or said enough about the rapid pace of economic advance
in Asia. Energy will be the vital point to ensure the economic progression of this region. Oil
and gas industry still playing the big role as the current energy main source is still dominated
by petroleum. Furthermore, as young people who related to oil and gas sector, it is our responsibility to concern and show our commitment regarding environmental issue. Therefore,
we would like to take up Oil and Gas Sectors Role in Providing Energy for Prosperous and
Green Future as the theme of Oil Expo 2013.
I am grateful to all members of the program and organizing committees and to all
sponsors for their hard work and support. Their recognition of the importance of this event is
greatly appreciated.
The program will not be a success without participations and fruitful competitions
from the participants. Therefore, I warmly invite you to take part by joining this event and
looking forward for your active contribution to the event by fruitful competitions and I hope
that you will find our efforts worthwhile. We are looking forward to seeing you in Jakarta

INTRODUCTION
BPHMJTP - Oil Expo Trisakti 2013
Nowadays, Indonesia is a country that
has a substantial energy demands. It is affected
by economic growth and increasing domestic
industrial production in term of the number.
Indonesia has been transformed from agricultural-based state to provide a larger portion
to services and manufacturing industries. In reality, a disappointment that this matter does not
get in line with the energy provision to meet the energy demands of the people of Indonesia
The real examples of this matter can be seen from a fairly complicated problem in the
society life, such as the lack of fuel supply in some regions, towns and cities. Some remote areas
of the archipelago have not had a sufficient power supply. The problem existed due to lack of
good energy processing and management.
Master Plan of Indonesias Economic Acceleration and Expansion (MP3EI) was proclaimed to bring people of Indonesia to the state of independent, advanced, righteous, and
prosperous in 2025. The linkage between the energy sectors and economic growth is one aspect of the MP3EI. What should be noted is that energy demand will likely to increase from 3
million Barell Oil Equivalent (BOE) to 9 million BOE in 2025. To conform to this demand, we
need good governance to the integration and harmonization of energy resources from the Oil
and Gas sector, both conventional and unconventional, coal, and the renewable energy.
Decision making related to MP3EI has created a new paradigm, which are the relationships between energy, economy, and environment. This is the response of increasing energy
consumption to serve the economic growth while taking into account the preservation of the
environment.
When the various energy resources in the country were properly managed, it will create
a balance between energy production and consumption that equitable for all Indonesian people. The cooperation and support between the energy industries and government would create
a conducive and constructive atmosphere for energy, economic, and environmental sectors.
OIL EXPO is the biggest annually event held by BPHMJTP, themed Oil and Gas
Sectors Role in Providing the Energy for a Prosperous and Green Future. This event will examine and discuss Indonesias energy issues in the form of discussions, seminars, competitions,
and others to find solutions and realization of energy supply to meet the needs of the community.

if a player who has signaled answers before being recognized.
If a player signals before the moderator has finished reading, the
moderator will stop at that point. If the answer given is incorrect, the
moderator will finish the question for the other team only. The moderator
will not reread the entire question, bt should resume at a natural point in
the question.
An answer to a toss-up must begin within 5 seconds after the player has
been recognized. An answer begun after the moderator has said Time

Players have 5 seconds to signal after the moderator has finished reading
