MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 03-2014

FURTHER AMENDING SECTION 2, PARAGRAPH E UNDER CHAPTER IV OF
MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 08, S. 1996, AS AMENDED, THEREBY MAKING THE
PERFORMANCE BOND OR GOODWILL PAYMENT OF WINNING APPLICANTS OF
STALLS/SPACES IN THE PUBLIC MARKET AN EXCLUSIVE INCOME OF THE
LATTER.

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan, Albay in session

assembled, that:
Section 1. Amendatory Provision. Section 2, Paragraph E under Chapter IV of
Municipal Ordinance No. 08, S. 1006, as amended, otherwise known as the Market Code of
Guinobatan, Albay is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 2. That paragraph E of Section 2 of Chapter IV of Municipal Ordinance No.
08, S. 1996 is hereby further amended to read as follows:
E. xxx.
The performance bond of the winning bidder shall be converted into
goodwill payments for the right to occupy stalls/space in the
Guinobatan Public Market, which shall be non-refundable. The
proceeds of this goodwill payment shall accrue exclusively for the
operation of the Guinobatan Public Market.

Section 2. Repealing Clause. Section 2, Paragraph E under Chapter IV of Municipal
Ordinance No. 08, S. 1996, as amended by Section 2 of Municipal Ordinance No. 01-2006, and
any other ordinance/s or part/s thereof which are inconsistent with the provision of this
Ordinance are hereby repealed, amended or modified accordingly.
Section 3. Effectivity. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
