EL AL FUEL SURCHARGES
El Al Israel Airlines Head Office has advised the following changes to fuel surcharge levels.
Hereunder please find a comprehensive list of our fuel surcharge impositions for itineraries to / from / via
Israel. The imposition is for all El Al published and classified fares.

ALL EL AL fuel surcharges will be levied as per sector flown.

The fuel surcharge will be reflected in the Fare Calculation area of the ticket, preceded by
the letter Q, immediately following the El Al segment.
Exemption:

Infants.
Denied Boarding Compensation tickets.
Tickets issued under the Sell and Fly scheme.
ID tickets.
The following tickets are Fuel Surcharge imposable:

General:

The fuel surcharge is reflected in the Fare Calculation area of the ticket, preceded by the
letter Q, immediately following the El Al segment.

Children and/or any other discounts do not apply, ie full imposition of fuel surcharge.

Itineraries involving more than one El Al flight in the component will be surcharged only
once per component and should be reflected after the first occurrence of the El Al segment
within the fare component.
The YQ / YR imposition, which is reflected in the Tax / FEE / Charge box(es) of the ticket
should not be deleted when returned in the pricing.
