No one knows exactly how many
computers are connected to the Internet,
although estimates are ongoing.
It works on client/server architecture.
All computers on the Internet uses TCP/IP
(Transmission Control
Protocol/Internet Protocol) to
communicate.

different locations. The term may
be confusing to some, because it
is usually a discussion group.
Newsgroups are technically

software is used to read
newsgroups.
