Filipino American parishioners from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church here await their turn
to perform at the 4th Filipino Festival. Some 40 children of non-Filipino descent participated in
the dances, stressing cultural diversity among young parishioners, said Festival Chair Rosario
Igharas.

The 2010 APM Calendar, featuring Asian Pacific American models, is now available for sale
online, with 100% of the profits going to the Asian Pacific Health Care Venture (APHCV),
according to an email from Jason Peers, one of the three producers of the Calendar, with
photographer Jeff Sheng and creative director Nareth Chuon. For more info, visit
www.aphcv.org. APHCV is a community health center in California that provides low-cost
medicine to the working poor and uninsured in over ten languages.
