Course title:

Principal subject guitar

Osiris course code:

KC-M-KI-GT

Course content:

Students of this course receive individual lessons of 75 minutes. Teachers of

the principal subject also give regular group lessons during which students
play for each other. There are regular master classes given by guest
lecturers. The teachers of the principal subject occasionally share students in
the form of team-teaching. During the individual lessons the students
practice the repertoire under the teachers guidance. The student and
teacher together devise a programme tailored to the requisite development
of repertoire in the context of the annual schedule of auditions, exams,
projects and extracurricular activities. The entire programme corresponds
with the students study plan. There is scope for specialisation. The focus is
on the students personal development as a professional musician and as an
inspired and inspiring interpreter. The students are challenged to reflect on
and pursue personal growth and to recognise quality.
