Re: Hannah Hall
To Whom It May Concern:
It is my pleasure to write this letter on behalf of Hannah Hall. Hannah is without question the
most exceptional young person I have ever encountered. She consistently demonstrates
unmatched character through academic excellence, moral integrity, superior work ethic, and
mature leadership far surpassing that of her classmates.
I have had the privilege of having Hannah as a student in my middle and high school choral
ensembles during the last five years. Even as a middle school student, Hannah has always led her
peers by modeling the way. She is the type of person who carries herself in a way that garners
the respect of her fellow students as well as her teachers. She demonstrates unwavering morals,
takes time to care for students who need a helping hand, and takes the time to be involved in
every group she can find that promotes charity, equality, and compassion for those less fortunate
than herself.
Because of scheduling at our school, Hannah was forced to be in a class of much younger
students if she wanted to continue to sing in choir. Rather than becoming irritated at the
inexperience and lack of knowledge her classmates possessed, Hannah chose to mentor the
younger students in order to increase the speed they could learn new music. She helped to create
one of the finest choral ensembles Ive ever worked with and the younger students respected her a
great deal. She went on to be the only student I have ever taught to conduct an ensemble. The
other students attentiveness to her direction was a testament to her abilities as a leader.
One of the most amazing moments I have seen from any young person came from Hannah when
she ran for student council office as a middle school student. She campaigned hard and was
definitely the best leader on the ballot, but lost to another student because of the fact that most
middle school elections are determined entirely by popularity. I have never seen a young student
carry themselves with such grace and dignity in defeat. Her maturity and wisdom has always
been far beyond her years.
I have no doubt that Hannah will become highly successful in whatever she chooses to pursue in
her life. She is the type of student that makes me excited and inspired to teach and she is the type
of young person that will inspire the youth of the future.
Any scholarship committee would be wise to invest in Hannah Hall. There is no doubt that she
will do all she can to become the best she can be, and more importantly, she will give her best
back to the world while asking for nothing in return. I feel fortunate to have been a small part of
her youth and I am confident that anyone who invests in her education will feel the same.
Sincerely,

Adam Loudin
