THIS FAQ IS SUPPLIED WHEN YOU HAVE QUESTIONS REGARDING THE HANDLING.

Q: Why do cars sometimes stop in the game?
A: AI drivers have their own way of driving, they stop when the road is blocked
by another car, or when an explosion happens.
Q: Why do edited vehicles with AI drivers slow down in the game?
A: Only 50%-66% of EngineAcceleration and MaxVelocity are used by AI Drivers. Ho
wever, this can reach to 100% when you drive.
Q: Who do driving pedestrians drive crazily when you aim them with a sniper rif
le?
A: This is a common fact, pointing a gun to someone scares them.
Q: Why do some edited vehicles cannot operate?
A: This is a problem of the handling.cfg, make sure you backed up the original h
andling cfg. Certain vehicle types like vans, trucks, jeeps, or boats may not op
erate due to errors in numbers.
Also, when using the jgtavcve.exe program, DO NOT USE super cars on boats, tr
ucks, planes, or vans. Keep it equal. Super cars =cars only, Super bikes =bikes
only
Option 2,3,4 in the jgtavcve.exe may cause crashes if not used properly.
Q: How do I increase speed?
A: Just Edit a vehicle manually. Find the number that matches the letters M,N,or
O.
M determines the number of gears, N determines the Maximum Velocity in KPH, a
nd O determines the Engine Acceleration.
Q: How do I edit the vehicle's strength?
A: Find a number in the handling.cfg that matches the letters B and Y.
B determines the Mass in Kg which also determine the car health. And use Y to
determine how much force is multiplied when you collide at a wall or at a vehic
le in full speed.

The vehicle is too hard to steer, what should I do?


Edit the Steering Lock Function (U) in the handling.cfg. Just alter the defau
steering lock of that car. Increase the value to tighten steers or Decrease t
value to loosen steers.

Q: One of my vehicle's tires gone missing or is flying above the car, what shoul
d I do?
A: This is a problem I haven't solved before. But now, I conclude that the cause
of the problem is the drive type (F/R/4). Where truck cannot be
edited because they have six wheels, and bikes have 2 wheels. It is recommend
ed that you would only use (F)ront and (R)ear settings.
Do not use 4-wheel drive on cars with 2, or 6 tires. Also, do not edit the dr
ive type for vans, trucks, helicopters, planes, boats, and bikes.
Q: What are flags for?
A: Flags in the game allows cars to have special functions. If you want to edit
flags, follow the Notes in the Handling.cfg so that you know
what to do. Use numbers and follow the digit alignment. Also, if you have veh
icle mods, apply the best flags needed.
Q: It's hard to jack vehicles! What happened?
A: The edited vehicles in my handling.cfg are fast, you could take time to jack
them.
Q: Something's wrong with the speed and handling, and one side of my car is hard

to steer! What should I do?


A: Check your tires, if one tire is flattened, you might need to activate a cert
ain health cheat if you know it.... Health cheat also fixes the tires.
Q: Something crazy has happened - like flying boats or sinking seaplane, is ther
e any connection with the superhandling?
A: I've done my best to check the vehicles, but one cause is that your handling.
cfg might be overconfigured or the speed is so high on one of your vehicles. If
you had jsu mistaken to press
any button or key while reading the handling.cfg, do not save it! Also, editi
ng vehicles by not using the jgtavcve.exe might be tricky.
Q: Traffic's all over the streets, Why?
A: The top speed of the edited cars will cause traffic, of course.
Q: I can't reach the Max Velocity, Why does this happen?
A: This is due to the Engine Acceleration which manipulates the Velocity in seco
nds. Vehicles with more than 25 Velocity and less than 200 Acceleration
can reach the Top speed, such as the Voodoo. You can test this on a straight
road especially in the Downtown Area.
Q: Do I need to use other mods?
A: Yes you can, but in my computer, there are problems and mistakes of some spee
dometers and vehicle mods. Also, if you install it with GTA Mod Installer, the h
andling.cfg will be replaced,
(if the mod does not have handling.cfg). If you still want to use my handling
.cfg after a GTA Mod Installer Process. Store my handling.cfg and copy it to the
/data folder
every time you install a mod.
Q: What tools are needed for this mod?
A: Nothing, just simply copy it to your /data folder. But if you want some doubl
e-checking, you may need the following:
All-Opened Up mod
NFSU speedometer or GTA VC Speedometer
Vehicle Editor (Included in the Package)
Q: Flags are crazily manipulated the vehicles, How will I treat this?
A: It is also a problem that I cannot solve. Especially the BF INJECTION (a NO_D
OORS Flag might have been placed). I recommend that if you have a working door f
lag for your BF INJECTION,
copy the BFINJECT line in YOUR handling.cfg into MY handling.cfg to fix it.
Q: There is a problem with the SEAPLANE, when you exit and then return immediate
ly, What should I do?
A: This is quite a questionable problem. Try waiting for a few seconds then go b
ack and see if the SEAPLANE operates properly.
Q: RC Cars speeds don't show up on my Speedometer! Is there any remedy for this?
A: No, there is really no remedy. Speedometers measure the speed of the CARS TOM
MY IS DRIVING! not RCs. And since you control the RC, not the Top Fun Van.
The speedometers will stay 000.
Q: Why does Tommy jump when getting inside the race cars?
A: A car with a NO_ROOF flag will make Tommy jump on the side of the door instea
d of opening it.
