With crochet hook size G and 4-


ply yarn, 7 dc = 2 inches; 5 dc
rows or rnds = 3 inches
Check gauge to save time.

Bow

Row 1: With crochet hook size F


and pale green pompadour yarn, ch 5,
sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each of
next 3 chs, turn. (4 sc)
Rows 27: Ch 1, sc in each sc
across, turn.
At the end of Row 7, fasten off.
Wrap a length of green pompadour
yarn several times around at Row 4,
wrapping tightly to indent a much as
possible, secure ends at back, fasten
off ends.
Center and sew bow over ends of
headband.
FLOWERS FOR PINK DRESS

Note: With crochet hook size F and


pink pompadour yarn, make 62 flowers.
Rnd 1 (RS): Leaving a 2-inch beg
length, ch 3, sl st to join to form a ring,
working in ring and over rem beg
length, [ch 3, 1 dc in ring, ch 3, sl st in
ring] 5 times, leaving a 2-inch length,
fasten off. (5 petals)
Pull rem beg length to close opening, knot beg and ending lengths to
secure, trim rem lengths.

FINISHING

Starting at back opening of dress,


weave an 18-inch length of matching
ribbon through waistline. Put dress
on bear first, then slide on slip underneath; put on panties. Tie ribbon in a
bow at center back waistline. With
length of matching yarn, sew back
opening of dress closed.
Sit pink bear on flat surface, ar-

range skirt into folds and glue 54 flowers randomly over skirt. Glue 3 flowers
evenly sp across front neckline, 3 flowers in front of one ear and 1 flower on
each end of shawl. Glue a pearl bead
to the center of each flower.
Sit pale green bear on flat surface.
Add headband and glue 3 pearl beads
over center of bow. Glue 29 pearl
beads evenly sp on last row of collar
and glue 148 pearl beads evenly sp
over Rnd 15 of overskirt.
