Cartoneria

The ability to create sculptures from paper is known

as cartoneria (cardboard sculpture). Cartoneria
is a popular art form from Mexico that combines
a mixture of indigenous knowledge with Spaniard
art techniques and is deeply rooted in ancient
Mexicos legends. In this course, we will create
fantastic mythological creatures from paper. We will
incorporate diverse elements from creatures such as
demons, angels and/or dragons to create new and
unique forms.
