REGISTRABLE ACTIVITIES OF A RETIREMENT ECOZONE

Active and Independent Living Retirement Homes an entity which will provide
active or independent living facilities which can be a village, condominium and other
structure. A retirement homes is a community of seniors living in individual premises
sharing common facilities and amenities. The style of buildings that make up
retirement homes range from units and villas to townhouses and freestanding homes.
Accommodation can include independent living units, serviced apartments. The
accommodation must be designed for seniors and may include additional fixtures and
fittings, such as handrails, emergency call buttons and intercom systems.

Adult Day Care Center An entity or well-run adult day care center that will focus on
enriching the participants' lives, building their skills, knowledge, and unique abilities
and strengths. Below are some of the activities that may be provided by the center:
Arts and crafts;
Spa;
Musical entertainment and sing-a-longs;
Mental stimulation games such as bingo, chess;
Discussion groups (books, films, current events);
Holiday and birthday celebrations;
Local outings, etc.

Wellness and Fitness Center - The Fitness and Wellness Center is the one-stopshop for all your fitness and wellness questions. It serves as a resource for
information on various health and fitness topics. Fitness and Wellness attendants
can assist in helping you start a safe and effective exercise regimen with a personal
trainer, or set up an appointment with our dietician for healthy and helpful nutrition
tips.

Medical Clinic -facility where outpatients are provided medical treatment, checkup
or advice for their health. Medical Clinic should also be able to respond to
emergency situations or provide stabilization services in case of emergency
situation. They can also be clinics that offer such as but not limited to dialysis,
infusion services, blood transfusion, etc.

Rehabilitation Center - team of therapist, nurses and other professionals offering


different rehabilitation services such as but not limited to Occupational Therapy,
Physical Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, etc.

Nursing Homes Facility who provides assistance in a higher level of care. This
may include Occupational or physical therapy. This type of enterprise is not a
hospital and not a day care though they assist in activities of the retirees daily living
because the level of care is more critical. They can also provide Special Alzheimer
Care services, palliative care, etc.

7.

Hospice A facility that provides end-of-life care. The goal of the care is to help
people who are dying have peace, comfort, and dignity. The caregivers try to control
pain and other symptoms so a person can remain as alert and comfortable as
possible. Hospice programs also provide services to support a patient's family.
