Tennis anyone? Help us welcome back Rod Dulany to Ocean City as our new Director of Tennis -again. Rod was the driving force behind the restructuring and rebirth of tennis in Ocean City back
in 2003 before he moved on to take the prestigious role as the Executive Director of the United
States Tennis Association/Mid-Atlantic Section (USTA) . Now we are thrilled to take advantage of
his retirement from USTA. If you enjoy tennis, youll LOVE what Rod has in store for you.

Rad man! The Ocean Bowl Skate Park has the distinction of being the longest operating municipal skate park in the
world! So, grab your board, your pads, and your helmet, and carve to your hearts content in this historical park. Just
remember, if youre under 18 years old, bring your parents along to sign the required waiver.
We are thrilled to, once again, partner with Best Aquatics to offer kayak and stand-up paddle board rentals at
Northside Park this summer. Group tours, sunset paddles and more will be offered where you can enjoy the beauty
of the bay and surrounding marshes. And dont forget to check out our new Kayak Camps scheduled throughout the
summer.

After serving six years as Executive
Director of the United States Tennis
Association/Mid-Atlantic Section
(USTA), Rod Dulany returns as the
Town of Ocean Citys Director of
Tennis for 2015. Rod has achieved the status of Master
Professional in the USPTA. During his tennis career he
was named the National Professional of the Year and
served as National President of the USPTA. Additionally,
he has been inducted into both the Mid-Atlantic Tennis
Hall of Fame and USPTA/Mid-Atlantic Tennis Hall of
Fame. Among other professional achievements, Rod has
served on more than a dozen national tennis association
committees and is a sought after instructor, coach and
speaker, both nationally and internationally. Please

excellent at working with children of all ages and abilities. All

This is a parent-child participation program for young children who
have never played golf. The program teaches children a variety of
golf skills including: putting, chipping, pitching and the full-swing.
It uses positive reinforcement and FUN activities while teaching

both boys and girls. The fiveonfive game format is recognizable
to football fans and easy to learn. The offensive team plays for
a first down and a touchdown in the end zone. The defensive
team covers receivers, rushes the passer, and grabs flags to make
tackles. Kids will learn football fundamentals while having fun
and making new friends.

Operations at the University of Maryland (UMD), and Corey Haines,
UMD Assistant Baseball Coach, to direct our baseball camp
this summer. The camp is designed to provide an abundance of
instruction, covering all phases of the game, necessary to continue
to grow and develop skill sets. Instruction will include, base
running, infield play, outfield play, pitching, catching, and hitting, as

students can put on a rockin Broadway review! Campers will
perform a theatrical review with upbeat hits from many Broadway
musicals on the last day of camp, in addition to learning lines,
choreography, and music. Students will also design and create
small props, as well as partake in craft activities. All directors are
Maryland state educators and have been involved in theatrics in
both professional and teaching capacities.

SUMMER INSTRUCTION
The Ocean City Tennis Center, owned and operated by the Town
of Ocean City, boasts six Premier Courts, and three Lee fast dry
clay courts, with a professional staff on duty May 15th through
Labor Day. Nets are left up during the
winter months for play.
In season, there are many
activities offered for kids
and adults. The courts
can be reserved during
this time as well.
Completion of the application form including dog license and vaccination information is required. All dogs must have both a
current dog license issued by a municipality and a current rabies vaccination certificate from a licensed
veterinarian. A proof of residency or property ownership will also be required for a resident pass.

As the worlds oldest operating municipal skate park, the Ocean Bowl offers
skateboarders and inline skaters of all ability levels an exceptional Ocean City
experience. The 17,000 square foot concrete-based park takes advantage of
every inch of space, with transitions allowing flow from one end of this
carvable park to the other. The renovated bowl and vert ramp offer smooth
riding surfaces and the mini-ramp and bird bath continue to be user
favorites!

All skaters must complete a waiver form prior to participating. Skaters must wear required safety gear (now available for rent or purchase).
