What is ISO14000?
TC207

ISO14000 is a series standard about environmental management drafted by ISO (the

International Organization for Standardization) TC207. Contents include
environmental management system, audit, safety mark, behavior and life circle
evaluation etc.

ISO14001ISO14000
PDCAISO14001 is the core
standard of ISO14000. Aim at establishing environment management system inside
company, pass through PDCA circle management, seek continuous improvement
(reduce environmental load).

OHSAS18000?
What is OHSAS18000

Occupational healthy and safety problem now is more and more important.
People are seeking a systemic, structure, effective management method for that.

More than ten of Europe famous certification body and

some countries from Europe, Asia pacific together
drafted OHSAS18000 series standard.

Occupational Health and Safety management system

ZTE Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety

Policy
StatementZTE endeavors to provide safe and healthy working conditions for the
employees, and has policies in place to encourage the employees and suppliers to
preserve the environment and conserve resources while conducting product and
services-related activities, to continually improve the process and its monitoring.

To Achieve this, we will:

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

Meet or exceed all applicable environmental, health and safety legal and other
requirements to which we subscribe in the area where we do business
Identify environmental aspects and hazard throughout our operation and take measures
to manage them
Establish sound EHS objectives and targets and report to stakeholders on our
performance
Endeavor to promote employees EHS consciousness through training
Periodical review our EHS performance with high level manager
Expect suppliers to operate consistently with our EHS policy

Accident avoided principle

Accident avoided methods

Directly method: clear up hidden danger, such as removing poisonous or harmful

chemical product. Use replaced product what is harmless to human body.

Indirectly method: prevention and protection, such as outfit PPE personnel
protection equipment.

Safety mark: alarm or mark, such as safety mark, fire alarm system and inspection
record.

Safety training and management.
According to statistics, there is 2% of accidents caused by nature, and 98% is caused by
humanity. So, there are 98% of accidents can be prevented.

The building should be firm

without any potential risks of strong wind or heavy rain when utilizing the local construction. The floor load allocations should
be comply with the criterion. There is no hidden trouble of rain or water logging into the room.

30cmThe doors and windows of

the equipment room, the outdoor equipments, as well as the cable-through feeder window and holes leading outside, should be
sealed properly, so as to keep water, dust, mice and insects from entering the room. There should be a U arch or rain shelter
before feeders and other cables enter the room. At the joint between the jumper and antenna, 30cm of the jumper should be
kept straight with the antenna.

There are no any flammable, explosive, corrosive, or

heat producing object (such as paint, gasoline, and stove) in the site room.

:The room and the floor are cleaned, equipments have no evident
dust.

Spare parts, construction materials

and other items should be neatly stacked .The sundries irrelevant to operation, like cartons or remnant cables or wastes should
be removed. or packed up.

There should be air conditioner working normally in the

equipment room. The air conditioner should be installed according to the design drawing and should not be located over
equipment or battery. There should be no water drop or leakage from air conditioner. The socket should be specified for the air
conditioner and should be in good condition inside without any potential risk of over-heat or sparking.

There should be early fire detection

devicessuch as smog detector, temperature detectorin the equipment area. There should be valid fire extinguishers around.
