myself fully to realize my potential and to cope up with the emerging technology and advancements
in science and Engineering to reach a long-range career objective in CAE field.

Specific Expertise
Hands on experience in Geometry cleanup, 2D & 3D meshing of AUTOMOTIVE,
OIL/GAS and STEEL INDUSTRY components.
Carried meshing on BIW parts, SOLID parts and PLASTIC parts.
Ability to create and use ANSYS macros.
Ability to work in 3D Modeling, FE Modeling and solver Environment.
Undertaking quality checks according to clients requirements & correcting on the meshes
& prepare them for solver.
Experience in meshing the components as per industrial approach. (2D with or without
geometry, 3D meshing, 1D meshing, CFD meshing)

Professional Experience
Presently working as an Application Engineer CAE in Hexdof Engineering Service Pvt Ltd.,
Chennai from August 2013 to till date.
Worked as a Design Engineer trainee in Haulmaxx Engineering India Pvt Ltd., Chennai
(01.02.13 to 20.08.13)

Technical Skills
Hypermesh

Academics

B.E. Mechanical Engineering with aggregate of 8.04 CGPA in 2012

Higher secondary with aggregate of 75.9% in 2008
SSLC with aggregate of 78.3% in 2006

Projects
1) Finite Element modeling and analysis of seat structure
The assembly consists of many sub components like slider assembly, Frame assembly, Cam
Mechanism assembly, link assembly, damper mounting bracket assembly, seat base
assembly, backrest rectilinear bracket assembly. Midsurface is extracted for each part of the
assembly and FE model is build with higher order shell element as per the standard quality
provided by the customer then a Modal analysis and static analysis with different load
combinations was carried out.
2) Finite element modeling and analysis of threaded joint for oil field pipes
The analysis was done for optimizing the threaded joint. The FE model is built and solved
using 2D approach in ANSYS. Macros are prepared and used for optimizing the model for
different load cases
3) Finite Element modeling of Front cradle assembly for automobile chassis
Mid surface is extracted from 3D model. Weld regions are modeled in such a way that the
corresponding welding thickness is assigned and separate real constants are created for weld
thickness. The boundary and loading condition are applied to the FE model for the analysis.
Then a modal analysis is carried out for FE model verification
4) Finite element modeling and analysis of Scrap Bucket of steel plant
The assembly consists of many sub components like traverse arm, bail arm, bucket shell,
bottom assembly. Midsurface is extracted for each part of the assembly and FE model is
build with higher order shell element as per the standard quality given by the customer then
a structural analysis of 3 different load cases was carried out.
5) Finite Element modeling of Tilting Platform of Steel Treatment Furnace
The assembly consists of many sub components like platform, duct assembly, swivel
assembly, furnace shell, coolant pipes, and electrode assembly. Midsurface is extracted for
each part of the assembly and FE model is build with higher order shell element as per the
standard quality given by the customer then a structural analysis of 9 different load cases
was carried out.
6) Finite Element modeling and seismic analysis of ball strainer
The model is analysed to know the seismic response. Fe modeling is done with second order
Hexa and Tetra elements. Modal analysis is done initially to extract frequency response and
seismic analysis was done along with different load combinations including wind load.
Load combinations are derived from the standards provided.
